Another garden bed cleared and ready to plant!!!
Thank you to Cooper and Chloe and family and Benji, Jenna and Samson and family for clearing out the Senior Garden bed and getting grubby on a Sunday!

Now what should we plant???

WANTED: 2L PLASTIC MILK CARTONS

We now need around 30 plastic milk cartons to make the feet of our sustainable art turtles by TOMORROW!!!!
If you have any clean milk cartons let us know how many you can bring in tomorrow in the comments below.
And keep the plastic lids coming for one more day ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

Thank you everyone for bringing in your plastic lids!
We have two weeks left so keep collecting!
*Please note we are only collecting clean plastic lids. NO beer/wine bottle tops or metal tops please*

WANTED: 2500 Plastic Lids, all sizes & colours!
-sizes from 1cm to 12cm
-all colours... lots of COLOUR is best
-please ensure lids are CLEAN
-deadline is Monday 18th March

So collect plastic lids from milk bottles, juice bottles, Vegemite jars, yoghurt, washing powder, tomato sauce squirty lids etc etc etc

Lids can be dropped off either at students classrooms or in the Shed near the undercover area.

WHY???
To make concentric circles of plastic lids within lids of course ๐Ÿ˜‰
LGPS has been chosen to create a Sustainable Art project with artist Paula Hart which will be displayed at Carine Open space for the Tree Trail. The Tree Trail is a public art project sponsored by the City of Stirling as part of its Living Green program. More details can be found on CONNECT.

HELP NEEDED:
Checkout the fabulous senior block vege patch! The students have worked with dedication to get it to this beautiful state and so far have harvested lots of cucumbers and lettuce. There are still more cucumbers, corn, melons and tomatoes to come. We need help to maintain this beautiful garden bed during the school holidays. Tasks will include watering, weeding, caterpillar picking and produce harvesting. If your kids are eager continue their efforts and get involved please respond in the comments below ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Busy bee tomorrow 9:30am @ LGPS!
We have a few jobs to get done but number 1 on the list is to prepare the garden beds outside rm17 for planting. Also the plan is to empty the old compost bins and worm farms ready for usage and of course there is still some weeding to do.
All assistance welcomed! Roll up your sleeves and come on down ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays!
Here we go with my first call for HELP!
This is a pic of the wasteland outside rm17 atm. We have been tasked to bring life to these garden beds. I am organising a couple of busy bees during the holidays. Is anyone available and keen this Thurday morning and/or the next Thursday for a couple of hours? Kids welcome! Please ๐Ÿ˜Š
