There was a version of me who thought the answer was always to do more.

More strategy, more hours. more pushing through the tiredness, the tightness in my chest, the quiet sense that I was holding the whole thing together with hands that were already full.

I was solo-parenting four children and building a business on a body that had nothing left to give and I kept giving anyway, because somewhere along the way I'd decided that's what it took.

It wasn't strategy I was missing. I had plans for days. What I was missing was the capacity to hold any of it without coming undone.

So my body did what I wouldn't. It stopped. And in the stillness I couldn't outrun, I started to feel my way back to something I'd abandoned a long time ago — my own ground. The breath underneath the noise. The version of me who wasn't bracing.

That's where it began. Not with a better funnel. With coming home to myself first.

Because when you're tapped in - rooted, resourced, no longer running on fumes - something shifts. You feel the spark come back, The desire, the aliveness, the spark that burnout had quietly turned into obligation.. You get turned on by your own life again. And from there, the strategy finally makes sense - you become tuned in to the right move, the aligned yes, the path that's actually yours.

This is where you build or scale a business that can hold the woman you're becoming, instead of one that quietly costs you everything to run.

That's the work. Not capacity or growth. Both, held at once, by a woman who's stopped abandoning herself to get there.

It's the thread through everything I offer - twelve months inside Her Empire, working with me 1:1, breathing in a circle of women in Perth, or meeting me at a retreat across the world. Every path leads to the same place.

A woman who trusts herself more., moves differently, lLeads differently & lives differently.

Burnout doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like being the woman everyone thinks is “doing well” while secretly feeling exhausted underneath it all.

You’re still showing up.

Still working.
Still building.
Still trying to make it all happen.

But everything feels heavier than you want it to.

You struggle to switch off.
You rest but don’t feel restored.
You hit goals but barely let yourself enjoy them before moving the target again.

No matter how much effort you put in, there’s this constant feeling that you should be doing more.

I know this pattern well because I’ve lived it too.

For a long time I thought the answer was better strategy, more discipline, more effort, more momentum.

But eventually I realised the problem wasn’t that I didn’t know what to do.

It was that I had built a way of working that relied on pressure to function.

And when pressure becomes normal, peace can start to feel unfamiliar.

That changes the way you lead.
The way you make decisions.
The way you experience growth.
Even the way you receive success.

Because if your entire business is built on urgency, over-responsibility, and constantly pushing through, eventually it stops feeling like freedom and starts feeling like survival.

The women who create sustainable success are not always the women doing the most.

They are often the women who learn how to build in a way that actually supports the life they want to live.

With structure.
With support.
With space to breathe.
With ambition and sustainability existing in the same room.

That’s the kind of business I care about building.
Not just one that grows fast.
One that actually feels good to live inside of.

There is a version of “having it together” that actually costs women their aliveness.

You look capable from the outside. You keep showing up. You keep leading. You keep handling what needs to be handled.

But internally, your body is carrying tension that never gets released, emotions that never get acknowledged, and pressure that slowly becomes your normal.

I think a lot of high-performing women don’t realise how much energy goes into holding themselves together until they finally stop gripping so tightly.

What hit me this week was how different life feels when your body no longer sees every emotion, every challenge, or every season as something to brace against.

Not because reality changes overnight, but because you stop fighting yourself inside of it.

There is a level of leadership that cannot be accessed through strategy alone.

It comes from safety.
It comes from self-trust.
It comes from having the capacity to stay open instead of shutting down, overworking, overthinking, or emotionally armouring up the moment life intensifies.

And that capacity changes everything.

The way you lead.
The way you mother.
The way you make decisions.
The way you receive support, money, opportunities, and love.
This is why I care so deeply about the nervous system side of business and leadership.

Because success without the internal capacity to hold it often creates more pressure instead of more freedom.

The goal was never just to build more.

The goal is to build a life, business, and identity that actually feels good to live inside of.

My work isn’t about hyping you up. It’s about helping your next level feel normal in your body.

When something becomes normal, everything changes. You stop negotiating with yourself, overthinking every move, disappearing the moment it gets uncomfortable, and needing a pep talk to follow through on what you said you wanted.

You just move with clean decisions, clear leadership, and no internal back and forth.

Most women are chasing motivation instead of building capacity, so they stay stuck in the same cycle. They feel good, take action, lose momentum, then question themselves and start again. It looks like inconsistency, but it’s actually a lack of calibration.

Inside Her Empire, this is the work. We recalibrate your baseline so your nervous system, identity and standards can actually hold the level you say you want, while building the systems and strategy that support you to sustain it.

I’m not here to inspire you. I’m here to shift you. And once that shift happens, you don’t need motivation anymore.

Most women who are feeling stuck in business don’t have a strategy problem.

They have a capacity problem.
And until that’s addressed everything feels harder than it should.

You call it inconsistency but your system is already stretched.

You call it fear of visibility but your body doesn’t feel safe being fully seen.

You call it lack of clarity but you don’t trust yourself to decide and hold it.

You call it burnout but you’ve built an identity around over giving, over performing and holding everything alone.

So you try to fix it the only way you’ve been taught…

More strategy.
More content.
More pushing.

It works for a while, until you hit the same ceiling again. because you’re still operating from the same level of capacity.

This is the work most people skip.
And it’s the reason they stay stuck in cycles of growth → overwhelm → pull back → rebuild → repeat.

Inside Her Empire this is exactly what we work on.
Not just what you’re doing in your business but who you are being while you do it.
Your nervous system, your standards, your identity. your ability to actually hold more visibility, more money, more responsibility without collapsing under it.
Because when that shifts everything else moves faster, cleaner decisions. stronger leadership, more consistent income without it feeling like a fight.

If you’re ready to expand beyond the level you’ve been operating at

Most women think their next level will cost them something.

More time.
More energy.
More pressure.

So even when they say they want more… part of them resists it.
Because their body is already stretched.

But what if your next level didn’t feel heavier?

What if it felt spacious?
Where you could grow your business, your income, your impact… and still feel calm in your body.

Still feel present in your life.
Still have access to your energy, your creativity, your joy.
That’s the shift.

Not just building more… but building in a way your body can actually hold.

Because when your nervous system feels safe…

You stop bracing for what’s next.
You stop overthinking every move.
You stop feeling like it’s all on you.

And you start leading from a completely different place.
That’s where things expand… without costing you.

If you let yourself really go there… what would your life actually look like if it felt like that?

25/04/2026

Success was never meant to feel like survival. But for a long time… mine did.
I built everything the hard way.

Solo mum.
Four kids.
A job on the side.
No safety net.
No one coming to catch me.

I wore that like a badge of honour.
Look how much I can hold.
Look how much I can carry.

Until my body said no.

I found myself in hospital with pneumonia. & a chest infection and I nearly died. It was serious! This situation didn’t come out of nowhere. It came from years of override.

And even then… lying in that bed…
I wasn’t asking what do I need?
I was asking
How fast can I get back?
How do I catch up?
That’s not resilience.
That’s survival dressed up as strength.

That’s a woman who forgot she was allowed to stop long before she was forced to.
Here’s the truth most women don’t want to face:
If survival is your baseline you will never feel safe at the level you say you want.
You can push your way to results.
You can prove your way to income.
You can execute your way into something that looks successful.

But you won’t hold it because your capacity hasn’t caught up.

And capacity is the game.
Not more strategy.
Not more content.
Not doing it alone.
Capacity.

The kind you build when your nervous system feels safe to hold more, when your life and business are actually designed to support you, when you’re no longer operating like everything could fall apart at any moment.

That doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens in the right rooms, with the right structure & with the right level of support because you were never meant to build a life you love
from a place that feels like survival.

And if you’re honest… you will know exactly where you’re still doing that.

23/04/2026

If everything feels heavy right now… this is why.

You don’t feel overwhelmed because you have too much to do.
You feel overwhelmed because of what you’re holding.

The decisions you haven’t made.
The things you keep putting off.
The constant mental tabs open in the background.
It builds.

Not just in your business… but in your body.

And after a while, it’s not even about the workload anymore.
It’s the weight of it.

This is the moment most women try to push harder.

Be more disciplined. Get more organised.
But that’s not what’s actually being asked of you.

You’re being asked to see it clearly.

Where you’re overholding.
Where you’re overthinking.
Where you’ve outgrown the way you’re currently operating.

That awareness changes everything.

Because once you can see it… you can start to shift it.

Where are you feeling the weight the most right now?

Photos from Antoinette Costello Coaching's post 21/04/2026

Most women don’t need more strategy.
They need a business that can actually hold them.

Because right now… you’re the system.

You’re the process.
You’re the follow-up.
You’re the structure.

And that works… until it doesn’t.

Until it feels heavy.
Until you start pulling back.
Until growth feels harder than it should.

This is where we do things differently.

Inside Her Empire, we build the foundations that allow your business to grow without costing you your energy, your time, or your life.

Not just more income… but more capacity to hold it.

If you’re ready for that shift, you can DM me “EMPIRE” or book a connection call.

We’ll look at where you are, what’s not working, and what would actually change it.
No pressure. Just clarity.

Photos from Antoinette Costello Coaching's post 20/04/2026

Freedom doesn’t come from having no structure.
It comes from having the right structure.

Because when everything lives in your head,
you’re never fully present.

You’re always holding something.
Systems don’t restrict you.

They support you.

And when your business can hold itself… you finally get to show up fully in it.

Where in your business are you holding everything in your head right now?

Be honest… what’s the one thing that feels messy or heavier than it should?

Drop it below or DM me. I’d genuinely love to hear.
