Students looking to apply your student visa in 2026 for Australia.

⚠️ Some Important Caveats & Things to Watch
• The figure AUD 29,710 is a minimum living cost estimate; actual costs in some cities (Sydney, Melbourne, etc) may be higher. 
• The thresholds may change again — check with the official Department of Home Affairs (DHA) website close to your application time.
• Meeting the minimum financial requirement does not guarantee visa approval — you must also satisfy other requirements like Genuine Student / Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE), course suitability, English proficiency, etc.
• Currency fluctuations matter — since you are from Nepal, when converting AUD to Nepalese Rupees (NPR) ensure you consider the current rate and document it.
• If you are only staying for a short course (less than 12 months) the required amounts may be pro-rata (i.e., less than full 12 months) but you must check exactly with DHA.

2024-25 State Nomination Migration Program

The Western Australian State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) 2024-25 program year is now open.
For the SNMP 2024-25 program year, the Western Australian government will continue to waive the $200 application fee.
A new feature of the 2024-25 SNMP includes additional employment contract arrangements for candidates invited through the General Stream – WASMOL – Schedule 1.
Invitation rounds for the 2024-25 program year are anticipated to be held the first week of each month, commencing in August 2024.
