BOOK WEEK IS ALMOST HERE // From 14-18 September, our Primary School will celebrate the joy of reading with a week full of books, imagination, creativity and fun!

Visit our Book Fair in the Library before and after school throughout the week to browse a fantastic selection of books and discover your next favourite read.

The Book Fair will be open:
Before school on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - from 7:30am
After school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - until 3:30pm

Then, on Friday 18 September, students are invited to dress as their favourite book character for our much-anticipated Book Week Dress Up Parade.

Parents are invited to line the pathways from the Primary School Grove (outside the Year 4 classrooms) to the Auditorium to view our students as they walk to the Allan Shaw Centre for a whole Primary School Assembly.

We can't wait to see our school filled with colourful characters, wonderful costumes and a shared love of reading as we celebrate the magic of books together!

SECONDARY SCHOOL CHARITY DAY // Friday 4 September | Week 7

Secondary School Students are encouraged to bring along a gold coin donation and help support Perth Wildlife Hospital!

This term, students were invited to nominate a charity they would like our school community to support. After reviewing the wonderful suggestions received, our Year 12 Service Ambassadors selected Perth Wildlife Hospital as our chosen charity.

Perth Wildlife Hospital is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, treatment, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife. The organisation also supports conservation, research, education, and community training across Western Australia.

Every student who makes a gold coin donation will go into the draw to win an animal-themed accessory.

One gold coin can make a difference for Australia's wildlife.

BE THE I IN KIND // Last week was Bullying No Way Week which is Australia’s leading initiative for bullying prevention in schools.

This year’s theme reminds us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world. Small actions - like including someone, speaking up or showing kindness - can create meaningful change.

Our Year 7’s marked the week by creating anti bullying pledges, learning about bullying and how we can prevent it. They were reminded what it means to truly ‘be the ‘I” in kind.’
