Banksia Grove - Care for Kids School of Early Learning

Today our Junior and Pre-Kindy children got creative making colourful rainbow collages using crepe paper and glue 🌈✨

The children explored colours, creativity, and sensory play while also developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, confidence, and independence. There was lots of sharing, chatting, and teamwork throughout the experience 😊

We love seeing their beautiful imaginations come to life! 💛

There were so many smiles, laughs, and beautiful moments shared with the residents. We always love these special visits and the connections they create across generations 🥰

The children mixed, scooped, poured, and created pretend meals and muddy cakes while exploring different textures, colours, and smells through sensory play. Lots of creativity, teamwork, and imaginative fun! 😊🌿

🐞✨ Our little learners have been exploring the wonderful world of mini beasts over the past month! The children got creative making adorable ladybugs using paper plates, paint, glue, and paper. 🎨🖍️

The children showed lots of curiosity, focus, and concentration as they carefully created their special insect artworks. What busy little bugs we have! 🌿😊

🥣🎃 Our Tiny Tots and Nursery children became little chefs as they helped make delicious chicken and pumpkin soup! 🐥👩‍🍳

The children explored different ingredients, enjoyed hands-on cooking experiences, and had so much fun mixing and creating together. What a perfect warm treat for a chilly day! 🍂✨

During Djeran, our little learners got creative using playdough and natural treasures to build cosy homes for Australian animals! 🐨🍂

Through imaginative and sensory play, the children explored where animals live, hide, and rest during the changing season while having lots of hands-on fun creating their own habitats. 🌿✨

🌟 Meet Me Monday 🌟

Our Tiny Tots had so much fun exploring ice painting! 🧊🎨

The children used paintbrushes to colour the ice before transferring the paint onto paper to create beautiful artwork. We heard lots of “Cold!” and “Wow!” as they explored the icy textures — with some even bravely holding handfuls of ice afterwards! ❄️😊

🍂🌳 Djeran Learning Through Play! 🌳🍂

Our Pre-Kindy children explored the Djeran season through hands-on activities, creating seasonal trees with natural treasures and clay habitats for Australian animals 🐨✨
