Today we’re celebrating National simultaneous story time - a special annual event that brings children and communities across Australia together to share the joy of reading 📚

This morning we shared in magical story telling using props, puppets, environments inside and outside!

At Nido Early School Kingsway literacy is nurtured and embedded in our learning branches in the curriculum through storytelling, communication, creativity, and self-expression every day.

From recognising letters and symbols to drawing, writing, and sharing ideas, children build the confidence and skills to connect with the world around them.

Today we joined our friends Nido Early School Duncraig Nido Early School Yokine Nido Early School Maylands and the WA Nido support office at Nido Early School Iluka for their very special biggest morning tea to raise awareness for cancer and to show great support for their Nido community in a time of need.

Thank you to our Amber for baking the most delicious scones for the morning tea, you always go above and beyond and we are so grateful we have you at Nido!

Today at Nido Early School Kingsway our children enjoyed a delicious homemade Beef Bourguignon, lovingly prepared with fresh herbs picked straight from our very own garden.

Creating nourishing meals with fresh ingredients is just one of the ways we support healthy habits and meaningful learning experiences every day.

There’s nothing better than seeing children connect with where their food comes from while enjoying comforting, wholesome dishes together!
