To mark this special milestone, we've connected together our Book Week celebrations, Community Connections Plan, and a series of meaningful experiences throughout August that truly bring our philosophy to life.

Today, we were honoured to welcome local children's author and children's psychologist Rachel Tomlinson, who shared her beautiful story, A Blue Kind of Day.

Through storytelling, connection and meaningful conversations, our children explored emotions, empathy and the power of kindness—creating memories that will stay with them long after the final page.

Every morning at Nido Early School Kingsway, we begin our day with an Acknowledgment of Country—a meaningful moment that encourages respect, connection, and gratitude for the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn and play.
This video captures some of our Kinders confidently leading the Acknowledgment of Country themselves. Watching them speak with such confidence and understanding is a wonderful reflection of the strong sense of belonging, respect, and community we nurture every day.

At Nido Early School Kingsway our kinder children transformed simple playdough into imaginative creations, stories, and investigations.

The Kinder children explored textures, shapes, patterns, and relationships while collaborating with peers and sharing their thinking.

Playdough becomes a canvas for creativity, allowing children to represent ideas that words alone cannot always express.
