At Nido Wandi, we understand and embrace that learning can be messy! It even forms part of our philosophy as we value the rich learning experiences that messy play provides 💕

Allowing children to be fully immersed in messy play, water play, sensory experiences and self help skills such as self feeding without interruption when things get a little messy allows them to develop problem solving skills, creativity and discovery ✨

We highly encourage you to dress your child in clothing that is not sentimental or precious. We welcome you to dress your children in second hand clothes, or clothes that already have messy play stains so that you and your children are comfortable for messy learning to happen👚

We also would love to introduce our Nido Wandi Clothing Swap. A space for you to bring in second hand clothing in good condition that you are no longer using and swap it for other items you can use. We hope this helps the families in our Wandi community and helps clothing get a second use 💕

On Saturday, the team came together for First Aid and CPR training, refreshing the skills we need to keep the children and team healthy and safe🤕❤️‍🩹

What a treat we had at our local park this week, watching the quenda’s hopping about around us! 🍃 Can you spot the quenda hopping across the path in the photo? 📷

“Look, a bandicoot! But I didn’t touch it” said S.
The children thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife, looking after their bodies trying out the exercise equipment and seeing just how high they could climb on the equipment ❤️

“Can you take a photo to show my Mum and Dad how high I am now?” O asked after persevering throughout our park visits so far to build up to his success he shared with such pride! ✨🛝
