Ever wondered what it feels like to use a fire extinguisher on a REAL fire? 🔥

This week we delivered comprehensive on-site fire safety training covering everything from fire warden & evacuation activities to first attack firefighting equipment – fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and fire hose reels with hands-on practicals using real fire.

Delivered by a professional firefighter, we bring the training to you, on-site at your workplace, so your team can learn in a safe and controlled environment. No more boring presentations – just practical, life-saving skills that build real confidence.

🚒 Would you or someone you know love to get up close and personal with a specialist 30-tonne Airport Fire Truck? 🚒

This Sunday you’ll get the chance! Myself and the rest of the Aviation Rescue Firefighters from Perth Airport will be at Whitfords Nodes taking on a 24-hour Telethon challenge, climbing up and down the stairs non-stop for 24 hours while wearing our firefighter breathing apparatus which weighs about 17 kilograms.

👨‍🚒 I’m a local firefighter and father of three, and this challenge means a lot to us. Last year our team climbed higher than Mt Everest and raised more than $20,000 for Telethon. This year we’re going even bigger, aiming to complete as many laps as possible and raise over $25,000 to help sick kids across WA.

🔥 We’ll have one of our specialist 30-tonne aviation fire trucks on display throughout the event, so if you or your kids love fire trucks, come down, say hi, take some photos, and have a chat with the firefighters taking on this huge challenge.

📍 When: THIS Sunday 12 pm – Monday 12 pm (we’ll be climbing all through the night)
📍 Where: Whitfords Nodes Stairs, Hillarys
💛 Why: To raise more than $25,000 for Telethon 2025

🥋 On-site First Aid training with the team at Wolves Den, delivered right in their gym.

We covered CPR, AED use, choking and bleeding control, plus plenty of scenarios relevant to their environment like fractures, dislocations, sprains, strains, anaphylaxis, asthma and much more.

Always great to see a team that trains hard in their sport also commit to being ready when it matters most. 👊

🚨 Warden & Chief Warden Training 🚨

This week we delivered tailored emergency response training for the Botanic Gardens & Parks Authority at Kings Park. Their Park Management Officers play a vital role in ensuring public safety and responding quickly during emergencies.

Training included realistic scenarios such as fire alarms, gas leaks, severe weather, and managing security threats. Staff practiced leading evacuations, lockdowns, and shelter in place responses to ensure they are ready for real-world situations.

Always a privilege to work with organisations that carry such strong responsibility for community safety 🌿🔥👷‍♂️

💥 If you’re going to learn how to break bones, it’s probably a good idea to know how to treat them afterwards!

We delivered on-site Provide First Aid training at the School of Freestyle Martial Arts in Nedlands, giving the team practical CPR and first aid skills so they’re ready to respond in an emergency.
