Nido Early School Banksia Grove

Not sure what to make for dinner? Our “Hulk Pasta” is a hit with the children at Nido Banksia Grove. Full of hidden veg and gooey cheese, it’s one of our personal favourites too! This dish is part of our seasonal menu developed in consultation with nutritionist Vicky Tiéche of My Wholefood Hub and is just one of many amazing nutritious meals we serve our children to give them energy for the day.

Sensory play offers a wide range of benefits in children's learning and development. This includes cognitive development, social development and motor development. Following the children's interests, we offered toddlers an under the sea sensory tray using home-made kinetic sand.

Want to make your own kinetic sand? It's easy! Just mix 5 parts sand, 3 parts corn flour and 1 part vegetable oil. Mix it all together and there you go! It lasts for ages and cleans up easily. Happy playing!
