Al-Hidayah Islamic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher for a maternity leave cover position commencing Monday, 22 June 2026.

We are looking for an educator who is committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and emotionally within a supportive Islamic learning environment grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Qur'anic Storytelling with Ustadha Maryam Sinclair

Musa (as) left the city in a state of fear and caution praying,
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ القَومِ الظَّلمِين
"My Lord! Deliver me from the wrongdoing people."
(Surah Qasas verse 21)

Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed with the opportunity to experience Qur'anic storytelling with Ustadha Maryam Sinclair an American writer, teacher and student who researches, and teaches the lives of the prophet's known in the Qur'an to families all over the globe.

Ustadha Maryam shared an animated version of "The Fall of the Tyrant" - the story of Musa (alayhisa salaam) leading Bani Israil out of oppression, and the destruction of Firaun.

It was an uplifting experience that helped shape our students' hearts and souls and fostered a connection with the words of Allah Almighty, Insha'Allah.

We are so excited to welcome back the Uyghur Food Truck and Unicone Soft Serve, and we are so thrilled to have new food trucks and trailers joining us this year.

Here are a few snaps from our School Fete last year!

We had a cuddly animal farm, a mega fun obstacle course, a hands-on craft corner and plenty more 🌟

We also had a wonderful range of food, from juicy homemade sambusas to Sr Ros's specialty curry noodles, and traditional kuihs to sweet sundaes.

And of course, SATAY! Think aromatic marinated meat skewers grilled over charcoal - what could be better than that? These were a HIT last year, so get in quick to not be disappointed!

We'll be announcing our food vendors very soon and we know you'll be just as excited as we are 👀
