📣 Exciting news from our alumni! Finlay Foster (Class of 2023), who is also one of our Creative Arts and Design Technicians, is currently balancing a double degree in Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of IT. Finlay recently completed her summer internship in Indonesia at a law firm called AYMP – made possible through ACICIS, which lets Australian students study Indonesian and Indonesian law for a couple of weeks in addition to their internship. Finlay also recently became the WA State Chair for her scholarship and last year was awarded the Westpac Young Technologist Scholarship. As State Chair, Finlay manages a team of 10 committee members. Her role and the scholarship will lead to interstate travel and the opportunity to attend a leadership development program in Singapore this July.

A huge congratulations on your achievements, Finlay! 👏

What a morning to remember! 💜

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Penrhos College Foundation for presenting today’s inaugural International Women’s Day Breakfast to ignite and inspire our diverse community. It was a truly inspirational event, showcasing the extraordinary journeys of three incredible alumni; Penelope Woollard (Pilot), Jen Winley (First Associate Conductor, WASO) and Kim Tyrer (CEO & Winemaker, Galafrey Wines), all of whom so graciously shared their journeys, challenges and wisdom with us.

In the words of Foundation President, Alistair Baron, "if you see it, you can be it" and by sharing our stories the next generation of Penrhos students is empowered to dream big and with courage and confidence!

Here’s to lifting each other up, the strength of our community and the bright future ahead. 💫
