After discovering a love for photography at Penrhos, Angela Butler (Coote, Class of 2005) built her successful photography company Rolling Stills from the ground up and is now travelling WA capturing the soul of regional Australia as RM Williams’ newest Brand Ambassador.
In our latest Alumni profile, Ange shares how she balances a thriving career behind the lens with life on the road raising two young children alongside her husband, artist Jacob “Shakey” Butler.

The greens of the South Perth Bowling Club were abuzz with laughter, great conversation and some friendly rivalry last Friday, as alumni from Penrhos College and Wesley College came together for our annual Shakers and Stirrers sundowner 🥂
It was fantastic to see the Old Girls match the Old Boys in numbers this year, with around 80 Penrhos alumnae enjoying drinks, canapés and a game of bowls among friends.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for such a fun and memorable evening - we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

What a special night reconnecting with our Penrhos alumni in Melbourne 💫
From shared memories to new stories, it was wonderful to see friendships pick up right where they left off. We loved hearing about the many paths our alumni have taken since their time at the College, joined by Principal, Kalea Haran; Head of Secondary School, Michelle Taylor (Felear, 1986); and Dean of Students, Monica Cormack (Linder, 1992).
Moments like these remind us that being a Penrhosian doesn’t end at graduation - it’s a lifelong connection. 💚 We can’t wait to see more of our alumni community at future events!
