AISWA Teaching & Learning Providing support for schools to implement the P-10 WA Curriculum and the WACE

AISWA endeavours to:

• assist schools to access Australian Government funding, where eligible and appropriate, in order to enhance the achievement of more effective educational outcomes in the focus of the relevant targeted program;
• assist schools to focus directly on the educational needs of students in order to enhance their learning outcomes and their pursuit of lifelong learning and un

derstanding;
• establish ongoing consultative mechanisms with schools, individually and collectively, and with interested parties in order to support the achievement of objectives within each targeted program area;
• maintain liaison with other educational sectors, tertiary institutions and professional organisations, where appropriate, to enhance the development, delivery and ongoing effectiveness of services provided to schools;
• provide professional development and consultancy support to schools, individually and collectively; and
• assist schools to achieve effective educational and appropriate financial outcomes for grant monies received.
