The Goethe Society WA is a not-for-profit Organisation, that has provided Perth with successful German lesson for decades. Our goal is to communicate and facilitate a passion for the German language and culture in Western Australia. We offer a multitude of German classes on campus and online, from beginners level to advanced, for children as well as for adults. For example, we offer preparation cl
asses for school children looking to complete their Year 12 WACE German Exams. We are a partner school of the German government initiative "Partnerschulen für der Zukunft "(PASCH) and prepare students for the Deutsche Sprachdiplom II (DSDII), a language certificate required to study in Germany. Under the auspices of the Goethe Institut and the TestDaf Institute, we are able to facilitate a range of internationally recognised examinations and certificates. We also offer a rich calendar of cultural events in German. The Goethe Society WA also has its own library, located at the at Tuart College. All our members are welcome, should they be searching for specific classics or just looking to browse. Die Goethe Society WA ist eine non-profit Organisation, die in Perth seit Jahrzehnten erfolgreich Deutsch unterrichtet. Unser Ziel ist es, die Deutsche Sprache und Kultur in Westaustralien zu fördern und zu vermitteln. Bei uns haben Sie die Auswahl zwischen einer Vielzahl von Deutschkursen von Anfänger bis Fortgeschritten, vor Ort oder online, sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene. Unter anderem bieten wir beispielsweise für Schüler die Vorbereitung auf die Deutschprüfung im australischen Abitur an. Als DSDII-Schule sind wir Mitglied im Netzwerk der Partnerschulen für die Zukunft, kurz PASCH, einer Initiative der deutschen Regierung. Das DSDII wird als Sprachnachweis für ein Studium in Deutschland anerkannt. Seit 2022 dürfen wir auch das DSDI ausführen. Unter der Schirrmherrschaft des Goethe Institut Australien und des TestDaf Instituts bieten wir eine Reihe von international anerkannten Prüfungen und Zertifikaten. Außerdem organisieren wir regelmäßig tolle kulturelle Events in deutscher Sprache. Die Goethe Society WA hat auch ihre eigene Bücherei, welche sich im Tuart College befindet. Unsere Mitglieder, die auf der Suche nach einem bestimmten Klassiker sind oder einfach nur stöbern möchten, sind hier herzlich willkommen.
