The end of semester is a moment to celebrate and what better way than to share some pasta and pizza together 🥳 Last night our face to face and online students of ITAL1401 came together to celebrate a successful and rewarding semester. Well done again and see you next semester 🙌

Dalla mitica Lettera 22 dell’Olivetti alle sfide dell’Intelligenza Artificiale: la storia del giornalismo in Italia.

Ada Guglielmino ritorna alla UWA per incontrare gli studenti di italiano del terzo anno di Italian Studies e condividere con loro le fasi della sua vivace carriera di giornalista.
Ada ha avuto il privilegio di vivere le diverse stagioni del giornalismo italiano a partire dall’uso della mitica Lettera 22 (la stessa su cui scriveva Italo Calvino e altri grandi della letteratura italiana del Novecento) all’arrivo di Internet, e fino alle odierne sfide presentate dal’Intelligenza Artificiale.
Stimolanti le domande e gli interventi da parte degli studenti e delle studentesse presenti che hanno interagito con la giornalista in lingua italiana.

Sharing experiences, visions, memories, as well as… birthday cakes! Especially when they are meant to share acknowledgment and gratitude feelings from enthusiastic former students, such as Luba, to our department teaching staff. Many congratulations and best wishes to Luba!

We were delighted to welcome high school students of Italian / French from Canning Vale College and Willetton Senior High School to our campus last Friday!🇮🇹📚🤩 The day was packed with engaging activities, including an informative presentation, a lively Q&A panel with our current university students, interactive language workshops, and a guided campus tour. A big thank you to all our students who helped making the day such a success: Aiden Hill, Andrew Liang, Darcey Weber, Jack Fairwheather and Jerryl Benny.
