Last Friday our seniors participated in some recess fun and frivolity as they celebrated the halfway point of their final year.
Lolly bags, totem tennis and some very lively water activities were on offer. The students took great pleasure in seeking out and drenching Head of Year Andy Chapman, Associate Principal Hagop Boyadjian and other staff.
Well done Year 12s for all your hard work and perseverance, not long to go now – You’ve got this!

Reconciliation Week commences today.
Reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.
To promote and support reconciliation at our school, we have organised a school-based installation activity.
During Form students will write or draw how they could be ALL IN for reconciliation, these will then be displayed outside Middle Student Services.

The 12 Earth and Environmental Science class recently spent a day travelling along the upper reaches of the Swan River. At each stop the students, with support from Mr Carr, took a number of water quality and biodiversity measurements to determine the health of the river.
The aim of the excursion was to answer the question “How is human activity having an impact on the water quality and biodiversity on the Swan River System and the ecosystem services it provides?”

Guests gathered last Friday for opening night of the 23rd Annual Community Art Exhibition to experience the exhibition’s dynamic collection of works. The atmosphere was warm and inspiring as artists, collectors, and visitors came together to share in a memorable night with lively conversations filling the gallery space throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone who attended the opening and across the weekend in a celebration of art, connection and community.
Each year the public is invited to consider which piece they most like and cast a vote, which are then tallied. This year’s people’s choice award went to Jos Coufreur for ‘Sunday Roast’. Congratulations Jos!
Thank you to Amanda Ranford and the Art Committee for the countless hours and dedication invested to ensure another successful exhibition. Your hard work and collaboration are deeply appreciated, and the success of this event is a true testament to all that you have contributed. Thank you also to our wonderful community service students and staff for assisting with catering and our music students for providing the wonderful music.
