Last week, our Middle School students tackled thought-provoking topics at the Inter-House Philosothon. 💭

Going beyond simple discussion, students participated in a series of Communities of Inquiry, where they worked collaboratively to explore and analyse stimulus material, deepen their collective understanding and apply the tools of rational thinking, attentive listening and effective communication.

Congratulations to Bruce House for taking home The Thinker trophy this year! 🏆

Well done to our individual medal winners:
🥇 Dwij T, Year 7
🥈 Angus B, Year 6

A fantastic weekend for FRC Team 10342, Lost in Translation, at the Western Australian Robotics Playoff (WARP) 2026! 🤖 ⚙️

After a 9-2 qualification record and a 4th place finish, the team captained Alliance 3 through the playoffs and proudly took home the Judges Award.

Beyond the competition field, students tackled real-world engineering challenges, from robot repairs and coding updates to strategy development under pressure. 🔧

A big thank you to our alliance partners, Hale School's Team 9990 and the RoboRoos Team 4537, and to everyone who made WARP 2026 possible, especially our Old Scotch Collegians who generously volunteered their time.
