🚧🐢 Caution: tiny turtles crossing!
Keep an eye out for these adorable little Southwestern Snake-necked turtle hatchlings, which are on their long journey from the nest to nearby wetlands.
Hatchlings can be as small as a 10 cent coin, so they are hard to see on roads and footpaths near our Joondalup campus. Help keep them safe by slowing down when driving, cycling or walking around natural areas and refraining from handling or feeding native wildlife.
If you think you've found a native animal in distress, you can call the Wildcare Helpline for advice on 08 9474 9055.

🚀 This is how our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program launches cyber careers
Through our partnership with Interactive, students gain hands‑on experience in cyber defence, incident response and threat monitoring, giving them the practical skills employers are looking for.
A recent industry feature also highlighted how this partnership is opening doors for students like ECU and WIL alumnus Tarquin Bick, who’s already stepped into a real cyber role.
It is a great example of how WIL creates genuine career pathways in the cyber security space.
