Chloe did great at Joondalup last week. Extra pressure with an additional passenger observer in the back seat for the evaluation. The assessor was also being assessed during her Practical Driving Test! But she nailed it! So good 🙌✅🥳🎉🚙😁💥

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
2026 PRICE RISE

In order to keep pace with inflation, meet the higher costs of running my business and remain competitive with the rates charged by other driving schools I must regretfully increase my prices for driving lessons commencing today 4th January 2026.

The new prices will increase from $75 per hour to $80 per hour.

All other types of bookings will also increase by about $5.

My discounted 5hr package deal continues and is a good option for people who can pay a lump sum, are seeking focused, consistent, intensive learning and can commit to a 30day deadline (minimum 1hr a week).

The updated rates will apply to new students and new bookings for existing students made after today.

If you are a current student and have a lesson already booked the price will remain as stated when it was scheduled.

I know that my rates are still lower than what is charged by most qualified, licensed instructors and that the 1 hour duration I provide for a standard driving lesson is also longer than the standard lesson offered by others. I believe my services offer quality instruction and value for money.

I have a saying I often say to new students soon after we meet on the first lesson.

“If you can learn fast, I can teach fast”.

This means I won’t extend, drag out the lessons or unnecessarily repeat exercises and manoeuvres once competency is established. I aim to help make progress every lesson. Once the techniques and skills are learnt, students can practice independently or with other supervising drivers. Polishing and perfecting happens in the final stage (sometimes involving me role playing a Department Transport Assessor for a ‘mock’ test) leading into the Practical Driving Assessment.

In March I will have been teaching for 10 years. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge, seeing people develop skills, gain confidence and ultimately achieve the goal of gaining their drivers license. It is a joy and a privilege to share that milestone.

There are 569 people’s names in my records. Most of them are now on the road confidently and safely behind the wheel. For many I was there all the way. Others got what they needed and took the last step in the company of others. And that’s great too!

I’m proud of my work. I’m proud of my students success and I look forward to meeting new learners and continuing the journey.
