We are pleased to announce that entry for this year's Arthur Lovekin Prize for Excellence in Journalism is now open!
Established in 1928, this award is available annually for the best contribution published in an Australian newspaper or periodical produced, published or circulated.
This is your chance to be recognised for impactful storytelling with a strong WA angle, an joining the ranks of some of the state's most respected journalists.
๐ฃ Who can enter?
UWA students, and WA members of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (Media Section)
๐๏ธ Eligible work must be published between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025, with one entry per applicant which may be a single piece or clearly connected series of stories.
๐ฌ Submit your application by 11.59pm AWST on Friday 29 August 2025.
