VOLUNTEER CONSULTANT APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
WAUC is an independent student-run charity that allows you to tackle complex problems for WA's largest not-for-profits during your university studies. Their mission is to drive lasting social impact by providing pro-bono strategy consulting services to develop and grow not-for-profit organisations. Meanwhile, we provide student volunteers with professional experience to develop problem-solving skills and foster a passion for social impact.
Over a 12-week period you will work to formulate impactful recommendations that help solve real-world problems for your client. This process involves in-depth research and analysis, complex problem-solving, and regular client contact. Each project culminates in a final presentation of findings to the client, during the last week of semester. We also offer a comprehensive training program to help build your professional skills, including regular sessions with top-tier consulting firms:
- McKinsey & Company
- Bain & Company
- The Boston Consulting Group
- Oliver Wyman
- Visagio
- Accenture
