I have studied my Cert 3 & Diploma In Children's services through West Coast Institute of TAFE, Joondalup. Following the theme of our book: 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗼: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 - Written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake A Minton for National Simultaneous Storytime - it was a busy day of soccer play!

A full-throttle, tail-thumping, goal-scoring, underdog story that brings the excitement off the pitch and the page!
As a group we enjoyed reading together cheering on Luna Roo as she finds her inner strength in this inspiring tale of courage and determination.
(T) (CG) & (ED) engaged in showing their own soccer skills by kicking the soccer balls around the backyard and scoring GOALS!!
They also asked if they could colour in a soccer ball, whilst doing so we discuss how each child saw themselves.
Later in the afternoon we revisited our soccer play with the schoolies!

Fɪʀᴇ Eᴠᴀᴄᴜᴀᴛɪᴏɴ Dʀɪʟʟs
Every 3 months we carry out our emergency evacuation & lockdown drills! Today we practice our fire evacuation of the house. Once that was complete, (T) (ED) (LD) & (CG) engaged in small world play and role play of fire fighters attending to a fire!
Dress ups, hoses, “Fire truck” - cozy coup car & using our wooden A-frame as the fire to put out, supported our play!

National Sorry Day is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how we can all play a part in the healing process for our people and nation.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures, and achievements. The 2026 theme is “All In,” a call to action for everyone to step away from the sidelines and actively commit to reconciliation every single day.

The group has such a big interest in transportation play that when Nanna came across these puzzles on her travels we asked her to get them for us.

The pieces were repeatedly tipped from the trays and then replaced.

(T) enjoyed watching the bees collect the pollen from the flowers and investigating all the different colour & shapes of flowers. He also chose a flower bouquet for his Mum 💐🐝
