𝖺𝗅𝗅 𝖽𝖺𝗒 𝖼𝖺𝗋𝖾 • 𝖻𝖾𝖿𝗈𝗋𝖾 ＆ 𝖺𝖿𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗌𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅 𝖼𝖺𝗋𝖾 • 𝗏𝖺𝖼𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝖼𝖺𝗋𝖾 I have over 10 years experience in early years education industry. I have studied my Cert 3 & Diploma In Children's services through West Coast Institute of TAFE, Joondalup. I started up HFDC due to becoming a first time mum , needing to head back to the workplace and to support other families in

my local area. Harwinn FDC is a unique set up, as it is in the home environment of my parents; Penny & David. Due to the house having more open space....so there is much more room for the children to explore, investigate & learn. (compared to our house which is 5mins away and doesn't give the children the space that they need.) My parents work full time, so you might only see them at the end of the day. We all have Police Clearances, Working with Children Check and I have my 1st Aid certificate. Harwinn FDC is registered:

> There is a daily fee plus an admin fee
> 1:4 ratio for children aged 0-4 years. 1:7 ratio with 4 children aged 0-4yrs & 3 children aged 4-10yrs
> Vacation Care: AVAILABLE (please inquire before school holidays start)
> Planning & Program supported by the Early Years Learning Framework Australia 2009 (EYLF)
> Meals are provided (Breakfast, Morning tea, Lunch & Afternoon tea)

Using the working tap in our mud kitchen to obtain water, various kitchen resources, bamboo pipes etc
Many forms of play aka learning was created.
• resetting the natural items of flowers and gumnuts with water
• extending on/supporting interests by added more buckets with holes (see yesterday’s play exploration) with the bamboo pipes in a tuff tray (instead of them sitting in the dirt., as they previously have been) Various containers were chosen by the children to collect water in and to pour down bamboo pipes to see what the outcome was.

A morning play session well explored!!

• returning to engage with large trucks from last weeks set up
• (ED) found a tiny yellow flower, purple flowers from our garden were added to play; (CG) & (ED) worked together placing a flower in a tall jug, filling it with water and watching the flower float to the top. “Flower tea” & “flower soup” were also made
• bamboo pipes (that we got from Bunnings a few weeks ago) adding rocks and pouring water down them to see if the rocks will move down
• simply adding water to the dirt to create a puddle to jump in!
