Welcome to week 8! How fast is the term flying. On Friday, Caralee came alive for our Faction Athletics Carnival 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 🏆 What a fantastic day it was! 🌟 Our students displayed wonderful athletic ability, determination and sportsmanship across every event. It was especially pleasing to see students supporting their teammates, having a go and proudly representing their factions throughout the day. 👏💙❤️💛

A huge congratulations to Blue Faction💙🏆, who finished the day as our overall carnival champions! Their teamwork and enthusiasm was outstanding. 📣💙

How awesome was our community relay🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️, which saw parents, family and community members join staff out on the track. It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved, having fun and adding to the strong sense of community that makes Caralee such a special school. ❤️💙💛

A very big thank you must go to **Mr Ray Smithers**, our PE Teacher, for the enormous amount of work involved in planning, organising and coordinating such a successful carnival. 🙌 Thank you also to Mr Moir and Sam for their assistance with preparation and setting up for the day, and a special thanks to Ms Lansbury for all of her valuable work behind the scenes. 🌟

Days like this only happen through a true team effort, so thank you also to all of our staff for their contribution and support throughout the carnival. 👏☀️

Congratulations to every student who took part in the carnival, and a special congratulations to our Champion and Runner-Up Champion athletes from Years 1 to 6! 🥇🥈 Your hard work, persistence and determination throughout the day were fantastic to see.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What an amazing Jumps, Throws & Distance Carnival we had yesterday!🥇🎉

It was fantastic to see so many of our talented athletes out there giving it their best and showing off their skills. 👏💪 A huge congratulations to all of our event winners and to every student who competed and represented their faction with pride! ❤️💙💛

A BIG thank you to Mr Smithers, Mr Moir, Sam and all of our wonderful staff who helped make the day such a huge success. 🙌

A very special thank you also to Melville Senior High School students for coming along and helping us out on the day, we really appreciated your support! 💙

And the fun isn’t over yet… we get to do it all again Friday at our Faction Carnival!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ **800m SUPERSTARS!** 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our amazing Year 3–6 students who were selected to compete in today’s 800m event!🎉👏

There were some incredibly close finishes, fantastic determination and so much athletic talent on display! 💪🔥 It was wonderful to see our students giving it their absolute best and cheering each other on along the way. 💙📣

A big THANK YOU to all of the staff who helped make the event such a success, to our amazing competitors, and of course to the fabulous cheer squad of students (and parents) kept the encouragement coming! 🙌🥳

We can’t wait to see even more action at our Athletics Carnival next week!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉

📚🎶 A SYMPHONY OF STORIES! 🎶 📚

WOW, WOW, WOW! 🤩👏 What an absolutely fantastic Book Week Parade! This year was our biggest and most spectacular parade yet, our very own Caralee Street Parade, bursting with colour, creativity, music and wonderful community spirit! 🌈📖🎺🥁✨

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful local library, Wilgi Kaartdijin Mia Willagee, and to Jen, Nicole & Akira for helping bring this amazing celebration together. 💛📚

🎺 A very special thank you to the incredible Melville Senior High School Band, Mr Ryder and our awesome Caralee Community School Band for filling the street with music and making the parade extra special! 🎶🥁🎷

👑🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐉 And of course, a massive congratulations to our amazing students and staff for their incredible costumes, enthusiasm and commitment to Book Week. 📚✨Thank you also to all of our families, friends and members of the wider Willagee community who came along and joined in the celebrations. Seeing so many people lining the streets and supporting our students made the day even more special. 🥰👏

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ INTERSCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Last week, our talented runners represented Caralee at the CDSSA Cross Country Carnival, and what a fantastic day it was! 🧡🖤💛

A huge thank you to Mr Smithers and Sam, who dedicated many weeks training our students at Running Club in the lead-up to the carnival. All that hard work certainly paid off! 👏

As always, our Caralee students certainly weren’t shy when it came to loud cheering! 📣🧡The encouragement and support they showed for every one of their teammates was incredible. They got behind each runner from start to finish and made us very proud! 🙌 Well done to every student who competed and gave it their absolute best.

🎶💙 **Caralee Choir Out and About!** 💙🎶

Last Wednesday, our wonderful school choir, led by Mr Ryder and assisted by Mr Bilsborough, visited **Alchera Living** to perform for the residents. 🎤🎵

The residents were absolutely thrilled with our students, who represented Caralee beautifully and demonstrated our school values of being Respectful, Responsible and Being Our Best.🌟👏

A very special mention to our talented solo performers Harper-Grace, Nancy, Winifred, and Evie who did an amazing job! 🎤✨

We are so proud of all of our choir students for sharing their music, smiles and joy with the Alchera Living community. 💕🎶👏
