Did you know our centre is a beautiful nature-based learning environment backed by a stunning natural limestone cliff face?

Our Studios are proudly named using Noongar language - Koolbardi, Djiti Djiti and Wardong - reflecting our commitment to embedding Aboriginal perspectives, belonging, and connection to Country throughout our everyday learning. ❤️💛🖤

Each Studio features its own unique outdoor environment filled with nature’s wonders, including vegetable gardens, fruiting trees, bush tucker plants, mud play, loose parts exploration, and spaces designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and adventure. Children also love helping to care for our centre pets and learning about sustainability, responsibility, and respect for living things.

At our centre, learning is guided by children’s interests and supported through meaningful play experiences, strong relationships, and a rich school readiness curriculum that helps children build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

As part of National Reconciliation Week, children explored culture, connection, and memory through a matching game using Aboriginal ceremony symbol soft pillows.

Through hands on play, children were encouraged to recognise symbols, strengthen memory and concentration skills, and engage in meaningful conversations about Aboriginal culture and storytelling. Experiences like these help build respect, curiosity, and understanding while supporting learning through play. ❤️💛🖤

Today we celebrated a simple but incredibly meaningful moment of independence as a child carefully poured their own water into their drink bottle. 💧

Experiences like this help children build confidence, responsibility, coordination, and self-help skills while encouraging them to listen to their body’s needs and care for themselves. It’s amazing how such small everyday moments can empower children to feel capable and proud of what they can achieve independently. 🌱

This week for National Reconciliation Week, the children explored native Australian animal tracks through a hands on sensory experience rich in curiosity, discovery, and connection to Country.

Using magnifying glasses, the children closely investigated pictures of native Australian animal footprints alongside matching animal figurines, discussing the unique patterns, shapes, and sizes they could see. The children then used sticks to carefully recreate these tracks in sand trays, experimenting with lines, textures, and mark making while strengthening their fine motor skills and observational thinking.

This meaningful experience encouraged the children to slow down, observe the natural world, and deepen their understanding of Australia’s unique wildlife and Aboriginal perspectives of caring for and connecting with Country. 🌿🐾

This week for National Reconciliation Week, our children have been exploring culture, storytelling, identity, and imaginative play through our beautiful Aboriginal Dress Up Capes featuring authentic artworks by Indigenous artists Billyara and Charlie Wicking.

Through role play and creative expression, children are encouraged to engage with Aboriginal and South Sea Islander cultures in meaningful and respectful ways. These experiences help foster cultural awareness, confidence, social connection, and an appreciation for the rich stories and traditions of First Nations peoples.

We are passionate about creating learning environments where children can explore diversity, build respect for others, and develop a strong sense of belonging through play based learning. ❤️💛🖤

As part of National Reconciliation Week, children explored communication, identity, and respectful relationships through creating their own message sticks using symbols, marks, and emerging name writing.

Children used natural materials and paint pens to share ideas, represent themselves, and develop early literacy and fine motor skills while learning about the importance of storytelling and communication within Aboriginal cultures.

Later, the children used their message sticks during a calm yarning circle transition before group time, taking turns to speak, listen, and share their thoughts respectfully with peers. These meaningful experiences support children in developing confidence, belonging, emotional regulation, and an understanding of the importance of listening to one another. ❤️💛🖤

Little hands learning big lessons.

Today our children have been exploring what it means to be ALL IN for Reconciliation through creativity, conversation, and connection as they colour their National Reconciliation Week sheets. 🌿✨

These experiences help children develop respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures while encouraging kindness, inclusion, and a sense of belonging within our community.

We can’t wait to see all of the children’s beautiful creations! 🎨

Here the children combined construction, movement, and problem solving through our magnetic bowling experience! 🎳🧲

Using magnetic tiles, the children worked together to build towers and structures before experimenting with different ways to roll, throw, kick, and aim balls to knock them down. Throughout the experience, the children explored balance, force, cause and effect, coordination, and persistence while developing gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and critical thinking through hands on play.

Here the children explored science, creativity, and problem solving through a magnetic painting experience using paper clips, paint, and magnets! 🧲🎨

As the children guided their paper clips through the paint, they explored early concepts of magnetism, movement, force, and cause and effect while also strengthening fine motor skills, coordination, concentration, and persistence. It was wonderful to watch initial uncertainty turn into excitement and pride as the children discovered how to create colourful swirls, tracks, and patterns through experimentation and play.

As part of our National Reconciliation Week focus, children engaged in our Bush Tucker Cafe dramatic play experience where they explored counting, measuring, sorting and serving pretend native foods inspired by Australian bush tucker. Children proudly identified and named herbs from our very own bush tucker garden, making meaningful connections between the learning environment and Country. Through collaborative play and conversations, children explored ideas of sharing food, community and caring for the land while strengthening their numeracy, language and social skills in a hands on and engaging way. 🌿

Following the arrows and turning our animals to match! 🐄⬅️➡️🐘

This transition invited children to slow down, observe carefully and use their thinking skills to turn each animal in the same direction as the arrow before moving on. A playful way to build visual discrimination, problem solving and early spatial awareness through hands-on learning. 🌟
