Yesterday we celebrated a very special milestone — 7 wonderful years of Crayon House Childcare! 🎉

To mark the occasion, we had a fun-filled celebration with our amazing children, with plenty of laughter, excitement, and of course… a piñata! 🪅 Each child had a turn at trying to break it open, and the joy on their faces was priceless.

We are so grateful to our families for being part of our journey and trusting us to be a part of your children’s early years. Here’s to many more years of learning, growing, and creating beautiful memories together 💛

Today we followed a Fairy-Tale Trail 🧚‍♀️, discovered story clues and arrived at a whimsical tea party 🫖🌸.

The children made potions, created nature wands, built magical worlds and retold stories using loose parts 🌿🪄.

We finished by sharing our magical moments and sprinkling fairy dust ✨ It was a beautiful day of play, wonder and imagination!

🧧 Celebrating Chinese New Year at Our Centre🏮

The children enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year through hands-on, play-based experiences. They explored sensory provocations, created play dough dumplings, and decorated traditional red envelopes, learning about wishes of good luck and prosperity.

To welcome the Year of the Horse, the children coloured and decorated horse images while learning about the Chinese zodiac and what the horse represents — energy, strength, and enthusiasm.

We love creating opportunities for children to learn about and appreciate different cultures in our community.

What an exciting day at our centre! Today we welcomed RecycleMan for a fun and educational recycling incursion 🌍
The children had a fantastic time learning about:�♻️ What items can and can’t be recycled�🌱 Why looking after our environment is so important�🗑️ How we can all help reduce waste every day
Through interactive activities, songs, and lots of laughter, our little learners discovered how they can become everyday eco-heroes 💚
We love providing hands-on learning experiences that help build lifelong sustainable habits. Well done to all our wonderful children for their enthusiasm and great listening today! 👏

🎄 Crayon House Christmas Party 2025🎅

Our Crayon House Christmas Party on the 6th of December was a magical morning for our children and their families. Each child had the chance to meet Santa and one of his cheerful elves, receiving a special early Christmas gift. We spent the morning enjoying the sunshine at Bob Gordon Reserve and were treated to an energetic visit from Miss Kristie from Happy Feet Fitness. With lots of yummy treats, festive fun, and smiling faces all around, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another wonderful year together.
