As part of our 3–4 year kindy program, the children have been busy exploring road safety through play-based learning, navigating traffic lights, road signs and construction vehicles! 🚧

By stepping into real-world roles, the children are building confidence, communication skills and an understanding of everyday concepts in a way that is engaging, hands-on and fun. ✨

We’re still buzzing from the fantastic morning we shared with our community at our Play’s Kool Floreat Open Day ✨🌿

It was so lovely welcoming families into our spaces to explore sensory play, creative experiences, our learning environments and meet our wonderful team.🤍

From shopping bags to art canvases 🌿🎨

Our kindy children repurposed recycled paper bags into spaces for painting and creative expression as part of their recent focus on recycling and sustainability ♻️

Using recycled materials within art encourages children to see everyday items in new ways, while building an understanding of reuse and environmental responsibility through hands-on learning.

Thank you for the recyclable paper bags that became part of such a meaningful activity 🤍

Celebrating National Families Week through art, storytelling and connection 🤍

Our kindy children created family portraits, each one unique and filled with the people who mean the most to them. Through drawing and conversation, the children shared their perspectives, relationships and special family moments in such thoughtful ways 🌿

Experiences like these help foster identity, belonging and an appreciation for the many different forms families can take ✨

Today on Mother’s Day, we’re reflecting on the beautiful Spa & Wellness Afternoon Tea we recently shared with our families 💐

The afternoon was filled with meaningful moments- pasta jewellery making, sensory play with coloured rice, pink funky playdough, a mat session, and creative arts and crafts enjoyed together 🌿

While the children explored and connected alongside their loved ones, mums were treated to hand massages and relaxing neck, shoulder and back massages, all while enjoying a delicious afternoon tea ✨

It was such a special opportunity to slow down, connect and celebrate the important people in the children’s lives.

We had a very special visit from our local police 🚓✨

The children were so engaged as they explored the police vehicle, asked questions and learnt more about the important role police play in keeping our community safe.

Experiences like this help build a sense of connection, trust and understanding of the world around them- while sparking plenty of curiosity along the way 🌿
