Celebrating the wonderful dads, grandads and special people in our Play’s Kool community 💙

We loved welcoming our families for a special Father’s Day afternoon tea. It was such a lovely afternoon spent together, sharing food, activities and plenty of smiles! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who joined us- we loved having you! Wishing all of our dads and father figures a very Happy Father’s Day for Sunday. 🩵

A little look back at Book Week in our Toddler room 📚🤍

There was plenty of dressing up and some of our favourite stories brought to life through play! The Gingerbread Man playdough, The Gruffalo, a Dear Zoo sensory tray and The Little Red Hen, which even inspired us to bake our own yummy bread! 🍞✨

Our Kindy children have been busy getting hands-on with all things plants! They collected seeds from dried sunflowers to replant in our garden, explored how plants drink water by watching white flowers change colour, and started their very own kidney bean sprouting experiment. 🌱

From garden to plate 🌿🍕

Our Kindy children have been putting the herbs they’ve been growing to good use! Last week, they picked fresh parsley to make parsley scones, and this week they harvested more to create their own garden pizzas.

Growing, harvesting and cooking with fresh produce helps children understand where food comes from while encouraging them to try new flavours and take pride in what they’ve grown. 💚
