After weeks of celebrating the people, partnerships and purpose behind our journey, we’re getting closer to the WA Training Awards 2026!

Just 3 days to go until the Presentation Ceremony on 10 September. 🎉

We’re incredibly excited to join fellow finalists and members of the training and workforce development community for an evening celebrating the people and organisations making a difference across Western Australia.

We’re proud to be part of this year’s finalists and can’t wait to come together with our team and community to celebrate the journey and enjoy the moment.

Regardless of the result, the entire WA Training Awards journey has been something to celebrate. It has given us an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, what we’ve achieved together, and the impact we continue to make across our industry. 🧡

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Trainwest.

Today, Sunday 6 September, we’re celebrating the dads and father figures who teach us some of life’s most important lessons, long before the classroom.

To those who teach us, guide us, encourage us and look out for us, thank you for the lessons that shape who we become.

From learning how to do things properly to understanding the importance of patience, responsibility and looking out for others, these early lessons stay with us long after childhood.

The best lessons really do last a lifetime.

Wishing all the dads and father figures across our Trainwest community a very happy Father’s Day. 🧡

Being named a finalist for WA Large Training Provider of the Year 2026 is a proud moment for Trainwest, and we're taking a moment to reflect on the journey that brought us here.

Every milestone is made up of countless moments, the people we've worked alongside, the learners we've supported, the partnerships we've built, and the lessons we've learned along the way.

It's the dedication of our team, the trust of our clients, the commitment of our learners, and the support of our industry partners that continue to shape who we are.

There have been challenges to navigate, opportunities to embrace, and plenty of reasons to keep learning, growing and improving.

Today, we're proud to pause and celebrate how far we've come, while staying excited about where we're heading next.

To everyone who has been part of our story so far, thank you. We couldn't have reached this moment without you.

Here's to the people who make the journey meaningful, and to everything still to come. ✨

Our WA Training Awards finalist journey continues, and this time, we’re celebrating the partnerships behind what we do. 🤝

Great training doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s strengthened by working closely with industry, understanding the realities of the workplace, and building solutions around the needs of the people and organisations we support.

Across different industries and workplaces, our partnerships help us stay connected to what matters most, the skills, knowledge and capability that people need to succeed.

We’re proud to work alongside organisations that value learning, development and continuous improvement, and grateful for the trust they place in Trainwest to support their people and their workforce.

Because when training and industry work together, the impact goes beyond the classroom.

It helps build stronger people, stronger workplaces and a stronger future. 🧡

Great guidance. Practical learning. Real confidence.

We’re proud to share this 5-star feedback from Pernell Fredman, who recently completed the Preparation Course for the LGIRS (formerly DEMIRS) Law Exam with Trainwest. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pernell’s feedback highlights the value of having the right guidance, learning from an experienced trainer, and building confidence throughout the learning journey.

That’s what quality training should be about, learning that is supportive, practical, and gives learners greater confidence to take their next step.

A big shoutout to Jasmine Coleman for delivering a great learning experience and supporting Pernell throughout his training, and thank you to Pernell for taking the time to share this feedback. Your feedback means a lot to our team! 🙌

Today, we’re proud to recognise Wear It Purple Day and this year’s theme, Colours of Courage.

Courage can look different for everyone. It can mean being yourself, speaking up, standing beside someone, or simply creating a space where others feel safe enough to do the same.

At Trainwest, we believe that everyone deserves a workplace where they feel safe, respected, included and able to belong.

Creating inclusive workplaces isn’t just about one day, it’s about the everyday choices we make to listen, support one another and make space for everyone.

💜 Together, we can create workplaces where everyone feels they belong.

You don’t need to be a mental health professional to make a difference.
You just need to know what to do when someone is struggling.

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, including the people we work with, lead, support, and see every day.

The Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Course helps build the practical skills and confidence to recognise when someone may be struggling, respond appropriately, and connect them with the right support.

Because a healthier workplace isn’t just about safety procedures.

It’s about creating a workplace where people feel seen, supported and safe to speak up.

Our WA Training Awards finalist journey continues, with a focus on what we’re building towards: the future.

At Trainwest, our commitment is to deliver practical, industry-relevant training that helps learners build confidence, supports employers to strengthen their teams, and contributes to a more capable workforce.

As the needs of workplaces and industries evolve, we believe training needs to evolve with them. That means listening to our learners, understanding the challenges employers face, and creating learning experiences that build capability for what’s ahead.

Because the future isn’t just about having the right qualifications. It’s about having the skills, confidence and capability to put learning into practice and keep moving forward.

That’s what we’re committed to, evolving with learners, supporting employers, and advancing industry. 🧡
