City of Swan’s worm farm had lived a longggg life as a fridge before its next longgg life as a worm farm, and it is time to finally retire it!

We went along to empty out the contents of the old fridge and set up their shiny “new” recycled fridge worm farm.

The best part? The City staff who have been feeding their scraps to the worms will get to take home a bag of the worm poo they contributed to making 🥳

It’s excellent when local governments get on board with recycling - we love to see it!

FREE Worm Farming workshops with City of Swan

City of Swan residents can claim the City's subsidy to purchase discounted worms or a worm farm kit at the workshop. However, residents of any LGA are welcome to attend the free event 🤗
