A huge weekend for Exercise Institute athletes at , with strong performances across the board at one of Australia’s biggest gravel events.

Highlights included:

• Sam Davis (): 1st Men 35–39, World Championship qualification, and a time that would have placed him mid-pack in the elite field
• Sid Hills: 2nd U19 and 2nd fastest overall in the FIVE event
• Jon Gregg: 1st in his age category (Jon accesses our gym service with Lindo weekly!)
• Strong performances across the whole EI group
• Multiple PBs, World Championship qualifications, and first-time finishers

Great to see months of consistent preparation come together across such a broad range of athletes and goals.

Charlotte to take on Junior Gent-Wevelgem today & Junior Tour of Flanders later this month!

Charlotte Khorshid is currently in Europe undertaking a month-long campaign with the Watersley junior development team (), racing a number of the biggest junior events on the European calendar throughout May.

The campaign also sees Charlotte continue representing the CDF Junior Cycling Academy and her club, , throughout the European block.

“Charlotte is an incredible junior athlete, who I have managed to see race in Europe first hand last year with the . Through this period Charlotte demonstrated she is hugely capable, physically strong, and technically savvy.

I am sure Charlotte will only enjoy her time over there and we can not wait to hear how she gets on.” - CDF Director, Brad Hall

After a tough opening few races, Charlotte has already gained valuable experience in the European peloton, with plenty more racing still to come throughout the campaign.
