Educator’s Day 2026 🌱💐

Last week we recognised our educators who do much more than teach. From preparing curriculums and answering questions to supporting children through challenges and celebrating their progress, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes.

Thank you for the time, patience, knowledge and effort you bring to your work every day. Your role may look different from one classroom to the next, but the impact of what you do each and every day is beautiful to watch!

Jeans for Genes 2026 👖💙

What an incredible week we had supporting Jeans for Genes!

Our amazing cook, Jess, went above and beyond with a fantastic Bake It Blue fundraiser, whipping up some delicious treats and bringing our whole service community together to support such an important cause. 🧁💙

We’re excited to share that we raised an outstanding $1,234! 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to Jess for all the time, effort and love that went into making this fundraiser such a success - and to all our families and educators who supported us by donating and getting involved. 💙

Every dollar makes a difference in helping children living with genetic conditions and their families.

Daycare Dental 🦷

Last week we had the team from Daycare Dental visit to check the children’s teeth!

Daycare Dental ensured the children were comfortable and made the entire experience positive as they learnt about their oral hygiene! 🪥

Yoga Time! 🧘‍♀️

We enjoyed another great yoga session with Jodey from Flexible Friends - Kids yoga with a twist.

The children engaged in the session, stretching and practicing their breathing in and out!

STEM 🧪

In our atelier, we dove right into the world of STEM with a provocation the children absolutely loved!

Vases were filled with shaving foam, water, food colouring, and swirls of oil, and the children got to mix, swirl, and experiment to see what magic they could create.

The room filled with wonder, gasps, and big smiles. One little voice said it best: "Wow, it's beautiful!"

This playful experiment was part of our kindergarten curriculum learning branch 7: STEM. STEM is science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and it’s all about learning by doing.

Through hands-on exploring and messy, curious play, our children are building problem-solving skills, asking big questions, and discovering new ideas in the most joyful way.

The very cranky bear 🐻

In our Classroom Four the children showed interest in the very cranky bear story.

To extend our interest on this we incorporated the emotion puppets and loose parts to create our interpretation of the emotions in the book and our puppets!

NAIDOC Week 2026

Throughout the week, our service acknowledged NAIDOC week through a range of engaging provocations and meaningful learning. Children enthusiastically participated in exploration, creativity, conversations and collaborative play. Sparking their curiosity and learning.

🌈Rainbow Making 🌈

The children engaged in a rainbow making experience! Using droppers to collect the coloured water to make rainbow sand!

We all interacted with one another talking about the colours we were creating as the water spread through the dried sand.

So much fun!

Scent-Sational Dough 🎨

Our classroom 4 friends got creative with a playdough and spice provocation!

Exploring the smell whilst manipulating the dough to create various things that the children were talking about around the table!

Threading 📿

Classroom 5 had so much fun threading colourful beads onto pipe cleaners to make necklaces & bracelets!✨

While they were designing patterns and picking their favourite colours, they were also building fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination without even realising it!

So much focus, creativity, and proud smiles all round 😊
