Christmas Break... What Christmas Break? 😅
What a blur but plenty of sun, water and laughter.
I have no remaining availability at this stage for weekends or after-school bookings. Please add your details to the waitlist on the booking request page on my website if you would like to be notified when a spot becomes available 💕
I do still have limited weekday morning spaces for preschoolers and home schoolers feel free to message for these days and times 🫶

Oh my gosh, what a busy month it has been, and ending with a heatwave sums it up 😅
Thank you to my amazing clients who have left reviews for me on Facebook lately and sent them to me. However, I now know why I can't see them!!!
If next to your review there is a person/people outline only yourself and your friends will see it! Not even the business can see it!
So if you went to the trouble of leaving a review, I truly appreciate it, but if I haven't responded, it's because I can't see it, unfortunately. 😰
To fix this, you just need to head back to your review, click the 3 dots at the side of your review, and ensure it's on public (world)
Thank you again 💕

How awesome is James!
Last week, I shared a statistic from Royal Life Saving that said "40% of Primary school children couldn't float for 2 minutes".
After telling James this, he decided he'd get in the pool early while his sister was still doing her lesson and attempt to float for as long as he could.
Well, Mr James has a competitive streak and managed his float for 10 minutes!
Absolute super star 🌟

Sinking toys
Some children work well having a reward at the end of their lesson once they complete all their strokes. Others, however, need lessons broken down into smaller, more manageable chunks to get the most out of their lesson with rewards/breaks in between.
I love using sinking toys as a reward or break in-between for those water lovers. But it's not all fun and games. Using sinking toys helps with not only breath control but also with body/head position and, of course, learning about buoyancy.
Throw in a dolphin kick for the bigger kids, and that reward is another lesson in itself 😜 but shhh, don't tell them, or it will just be another stroke to tick off!
