This week we celebrate the incredible Education Assistants who bring so much care, patience and kindness to our school every day. 💗

EAs are quiet champions in our classrooms and playgrounds — supporting, encouraging, reassuring, celebrating successes and being there when our students need them.

To our wonderful EAs — THANK YOU for the countless ways you support our students, teachers and families. The difference you make may not always be seen, but it is certainly felt. 💕

💛 What a fantastic day we had at our Telethon PJ Fundraiser last Friday! 💛

It was wonderful to see our entire school community get behind such a worthy cause, with students and staff arriving in their most creative, colourful and cosy pyjamas. We loved seeing all the amazing outfits on display throughout the day!

To celebrate, everyone enjoyed delicious Krispy Kreme donuts and jelly cups, making the day even more special.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Poynter community, we are proud to share that we raised an amazing $942.80 for Telethon! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated and helped make the day such a success. Together, we are making a difference for WA children and families. 💛

📚✨ Today we celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime with Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller! 🦘⚽

This high-energy story had our students cheering like they were in the stands as rookie captain Luna Roo stepped up to lead FC Outback in a thrilling match against Bush United. Along the way, Luna learned to silence her doubts, believe in her skills and trust her teammates — an inspiring message for us all! 💛💚

Our Karri and Tuart block students thoroughly enjoyed story time together today. 📖

In commemoration of National Sorry Day, students from Kindy to Year 6 planted their Desert Rose flowers at the front of our school. We were also incredibly lucky to have Gina Williams-Ghouse perform, sharing language, culture and stories through song.

Today marks the beginning of Reconciliation Week. As a school we have been reflecting on this year’s theme, ‘All In’. It reminds us that Reconciliation is not a spectator sport. We all have an important role to play.
