🚨💙 Father's Day Stall – Volunteers Needed! 💙🚨

We’d love a few extra hands to help make this year’s stall special. If you can spare an hour or more, we’d be so grateful.

📍 Volunteer Times:
🗓️ Tue 1 Sep – from 12:00pm
🗓️ Wed 2 Sep– from 9:00am

🌺 ALOHA!!
⁉️Hawaiian Disco – Key Information & FAQs⁉️

1. Entry:
Enter via the corner of the basketball courts
and kindy gates (near the bike racks on the
Rothesay Heights side).
If you have a pram, a volunteer will direct you
up the ramp for ticket scanning.

2. Exit:
Exit through the oval gate between the
basketball courts and Keiki.

3. Tickets:
Have your ticket ready to scan.
Search your email for “MPS P&C 2026
Hawaiian Disco – here are your tickets”, or
look for emails from
[email protected] or search “wix”.

4. Child Collection:
Children must leave with a responsible adult.

5. Safety Photo:
Please take a photo of your child/ren before
arriving so volunteers can assist quickly if they
become lost.

6. Session Times:
• Kindy & Pre‑Primary: 4:00–5:00pm
• Years 1–3: 5:15–6:15pm
• Years 4–6: 6:30–7:30pm

7. Food & Drinks:
• Sausage sizzle – $3
• Soft drink / bottled water – $2
• Juice boxes – $1

8. Payment:
Cash preferred. EFTPOS may be available but
is not guaranteed.

9. Undercover Area:
Only volunteers may enter the undercover
area where the DJ and dancing take place.
If your child needs you, please notify a
volunteer.

10. Supervision:
Parents/caregivers must stay onsite for the
duration of the event.

11. Dress Code:
Hawaiian dress‑up or comfortable clothing.
Shoes must be worn at all times.

12. Lost Property:
The P&C is not responsible for lost items.

13. Rubbish:
Please use the bins provided to help our
volunteers and keep the school tidy.

14. Parking:
Park in the school car park near the basketball
courts or surrounding public parking.
Kiss‑and‑drive is available from 3pm.
Do not park on residents’ lawns/verges or
block driveways.
Do not park in teacher parking near Keiki -
your car will be locked in until after the
weekend.

15. Questions on the Night:
Speak to any volunteer in hi‑vis.

16. Alcohol‑Free Event:
Anyone consuming alcohol or under the
influence will be asked to leave.
CCTV operates across the school grounds.

17. Playgrounds:
All playground equipment is off‑limits during
the disco.

18. Respect & Kindness:
Please be respectful to all attendees and
volunteers who have given their time to make
this event possible.

Note: This event is for enrolled Mindarie Primary School students only.

📌 Important Info for Buyers: Once you've secured a ticket, please message the P&C with:
-The name of the child whose ticket you bought
-Your child’s name
-The session they’ll attend
-Their year group
-A parent’s name and contact number & email

Our Hawaiian Disco is coming up on Thursday, 27 August, and we’re calling on our amazing school community to help us finalise the volunteer roster. Thanks to those who have already volunteered.

Every session requires confirmed helpers for the disco to run safely.
All roles must be filled by 3 August so ticket sales can open on 4 August.

Please remember that Friday, 28 August is a school development day, giving families a slower start after the disco.

School is back tomorrow, and Term 3 includes our Hawaiian Disco on Thursday, 27 August. We’re calling on our wonderful school community to help make this event possible.
We require volunteers across all sessions. Events like this can only run safely when all helper positions are filled. All volunteer roles must be confirmed by 3 August so that ticket sales can open on 4 August.

Please note:
Friday, 28 August is a school development day. Students do not attend, giving families a relaxed morning after the disco.
