Hey students,
We’re looking for nominees for the John Chaney Award!
The Hon John Chaney SC retired in July 2023 as our Chair. As a judge and lawyer, he was a leader in his fields.
Central to Mr Chaney’s contributions were his commitment to collegiality, ethics and access to justice. We are looking to recognise someone who demonstrates these attributes too.
Nominations are open to all law students in Western Australia.
While grades are important, we aren’t looking for the top students, but the all-rounders who contribute meaningfully to their communities and peers.
Winners will receive a financial contribution and mentoring from leaders of the profession.
Nominations close at the end of the month.
