A great week of metro fishing with so many reports was great to see🎣.

The coming week looks really good, some light winds more favourable conditions, cloud cover should produce more epic sessions on the water.

Early forecast but Father’s Day morning a predicted sw breeze and a slack tide I might ask for a early Father’s Day present looks like it will be good for a few early morning cast.

The first phase normally fishes well, with all the bait and amazing gutters formed now is just as good as anytime to head out make the most of all the hungry feeding fish, it won’t last much longer soon we will have other options and areas to hunt in.

The w**d should be no problem this week with the forecast and plenty of cloud cover too👌🎣.

A lot of options this week coming rock walls, the river mouth and many beaches will be holding bait and hungry fish, I hope to be out there for a few cast over the next week🎣.

As mentioned previously regarding the giveaways which only happens through you the amazing people, Lubesport sinkers and fishing equipment, Shore Catch it’s so much fun to be able to do it.

I have been thinking of any unclaimed items, where the winner does not make contact with the page I will use a random number selector to give it out again, any thoughts ideas definitely open from you legends.

I hope you all have a great weekend, I was lucky to get a few tight lines and I appreciate the opportunity, I appreciate my dad on his birthday for getting me involved in the fishing scene at such a young age and teaching me a few handy tricks along the way.
It’s a gift I will take to the end of my days, one I hope to pass on to my children.

Thanks for reading legends stay safe and strong out there 🎣.

Happy Sunday legends took the kids quickly down for a spin very rusty on the board.

Was hard looking at the water this morning, good shape and structure with little w**d around.

Good reports last night of mulloway-smaller versions of the big girls and an abundance of healthy winter tailor were reported over the new moon period.

The first phase next week, light winds swell manageable it will fish well this week coming for sure.

If you can get out and wet a line it will be a good chance of finding some much deserved tight lines🎣.

Good cloud cover today with favourable winds should see more good fish landed over the day.

As these winter tailor are quite large please remember only 2 fish over 50cm can be taken per angler per day🎣.

I hope you have been having a great weekend so far with many tight lines and fishing stories to share.

Thanks to Salty Fishos for the tops 👌🎣.

Good luck everyone who is out braving the colder conditions🎣.

How’s this set up Blaine Carberry has very handy for the local beaches🎣.

Low tide tonight, but still tailor in the front gutters and plenty of just under legal size mulloway caught last night some very good signs.

The wind is forecast to slow down after sunset, could be worth a cast after last light, quite a few larger salmon caught also last night mixed in with the tailor.

Just never know what’s going to be lurking around 🎣.

Happy Saturday legends🎣.

Happy new moon legends 🎣.

What an epic metro session.

Couldn’t sleep last night and was watching the wind very closely.

4am and I checked the weather a gentle easterly, I checked again I knew it would swing but I jumped in the car and raced down to the local beach.

4.30 I had a bait out first cast a little nudge started winding in the slack and I was on you beauty.
Next cast another fish this time a much more solid hit, I love bait casting for tailor will never get sick of that feeling of the fish hitting the bait.

At 5.05am the predicted sea breeze kicked in a moderate 15-20k I thought it will either shut the bite or I could be in for a good show here.

Over the next 1.5hrs I was lucky to land and release over 15 healthy tailor, Shore Catch fresh mullet doing the damage this morning.

The wind was challenging had to get wet to cast into it but it was all so worth it, how can you not like a sport fish that is readily accessible in the metro waters and not too bad on the chew fresh.

So a few factors that helped this mornings epic season I want to share,

Cloud cover,
Rising tide
Sea breeze which pushed the swell up
A shift in weather always seems to fire the fish up
And New moon 👌🎣

It doesn’t always pay off, but having a metro beach all to myself this morning and standing in the cold wind it was all worth it and so good for the mental health.

Returning home in a positive mindset whether fish are landed or not it’s good for the soul.

Now of course I would like to add a metro landbased snapper or mulloway but it’s all about getting out and giving it a go.

I will settle for the healthy, well conditioned tailor this time of year the average size in the 50cm range how can you complain.

Sea beeeze in all day could affect many beaches tonight and into tomorrow.

Buzzing thanks for reading and happy Saturday legends.

Nothing like cleaning two of the workhorses for next session.

Does anyone start to think of the next tight lines when cleaning and prepping fishing gear🎣.

Lots of keen anglers down the local beaches tonight the amount of people I have seen it’s surprising on a Monday night🎣.

The fish are on the bite and many are making the most of it, great to be in it please remember the tailor around lately are larger then in summer and most are over 50cm please respect the limits and remember they are the breeders our future stocks for our kids also.

Looks like a good week to wet a line this week heading into new moon Saturday🎣.

I’m hoping the bigger fish hit the larger setup last few sessions my poor 5k has been hammered by sharks and the larger Saragosa left untouched funny how that seems to work 💁🏻‍♂️🎣.

I hope you can jump on the live giveaway Wednesday for some fun🎣.
Another big thanks to Assassin Tackle WA for the goodies👌🎣.

Happy Monday legends I hope everyone is easing into the working week.

Don’t forget to jump on the live stream for Wednesdays giveaway, stoked to be able to get these lures out.
Assassin Tackle WA.

None of this can happen without the support of many people and businesses willing to help out, bring joy and hope in these tough times.

New moon Saturday with a 4 tide change and a forecast of sw winds cloud it could be shaping up to another epic session.
Friday night looks promising also with many local gutters having great shape and holding some very impressive metro fish.

A few more local snapper caught on cast over the weekend along with all the hungry tailor around, end of this week shapes up to be a cracker 👌🎣.

Let’s get through this week🙏🎣.

Legends happiest Sunday I didn’t get anytime to go over the last few days some great fishing .

After Friday nights epic session I set out this morning for another crack, to find a good clean gutter.

I couldn’t sleep last night the excitement was too much I just couldn’t switch off I wanted some more tight lines.

I set off at 2.30am this morning as I wanted to give myself some time to make sure I could find a fishable gutter.

The first hour I tried with no luck so packed up and drove to plan b, having a few spots and allowing enough time to move around can be the difference from a good session to donut’s.

On the top of the high I landed a small gummy shark no meat on it so went back, next cast another smaller one it was not unusual at this location for the time of year but only babies so back they went.

On the 3rd cast I had my rod load up then go slack, a decent sark tail whipped my leader.
This is why I run 2 rods next cast surface action and the local pets, tailor had come in for an easy feed.

It was a fish a cast with most well over the 50cm range fat meaty and very healthy fish.
I like to let the breeders go especially if the hooks are able to be safely removed as these fish can hold millions of eggs.

It was another memorable session right place right time, the more time your prepared to put into a metro session you will get the rewards.

I was totally wiped out from running and landing these big fish, so I didn’t try for anything larger I was happy enough.

The fish today all preferred stationary baits Mullies, whiting and mullet there was no real preference they were hungry and very firey too🎣.

New moon next Saturday, I really like Friday night before the weather turns looks worth a cast.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend with some tight lines with family and friends.

Thanks for the support out there it is great to see so many willing to help 🙏🎣.

There is nothing wrong with letting a few fish go, these tailor are the breeding stocks our future, our kids future.

Fish Karma also isn’t a bad thing.

A great run of bigger tailor heading into spring can only get better from here 👌🎣.
