We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of former wema staff member Kate Stroud. Many of our wema families will remember Kate as both talented vocal teacher and friendly receptionist before she relocated to Lismore to pursue new opportunities. Since leaving wema, Kate has continued to build an impressive creative career as singer-songwriter and now film producer. Kate rose to national prominence following the devestating Lismore floods, documenting the community’s resilience and recovery. Her acclaimed documentary, When the River Rose, will have a special screening at Luna Palace Cinema, Leederville, on Thursday 25 June. Tickets are $25.50
