We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the families that attended this year’s Christmas Picnic. A special thank you to Santa for making the journey from the North Pole on a warm day to give presents to the children. Your presence made this event a success. We also appreciate our Parent Social Club Representative, Nan, for sharing icy poles with all attendees.
We would like to thank all staff members who participated and assisted with the setup and cleanup. A special acknowledgement goes to our Santa’s helpers, Kit In and Yonten, for their contribution in making Santa’s task much easier.
The morning was filled with sunshine and a refreshing breeze, providing delightful environment for children to enjoy water play. Some of us were fortunate to indulge in ice cream from the ice cream van.
To see more pictures of the event, please check the post on OWNA App.
Thank you once more for your support.

Noranda CCC would like to thank all our educators for they dedication and commitment towards helping all the children that attend our centre thrive.
All of our educators enjoyed the morning tea provided by Bayswater Child Care Association Inc. and they all had a little reward for their hard work throughout the year.
The educators had the chance to win some prizes on a ruffle: coffee mug, earrings and land yard.
Sam, Oisín and Toby helped by drawing the winners’ names from a sorting basket. Thank you!!!!
Congratulations to the winners!!!

Be part of our Community and join Melski McVee Artist on this exciting event.
Its been a while but who is up for a paint over the school holidays!!
Come add a bit of colour to the Noranda Station Pedestrian Underpass being delivered as part of the METRONET Morley Ellenbrook Line.
Suitable for all ages (although all children will need to be supervised by an adult), this is a great opportunity to contribute to the banksia and wetlands-themed mural which will reflect the native flora and fauna of the area.
Painting will take place on Monday 29 January 2024, between 10am and 4pm.
Spots are limited, so please book your painting time via the Event Finda website:
https://www.eventfinda.com.au/2024/noranda-paint-by-numbers/perth
It’s still a closed site, so all participants will need to walk to the site via parking at Mahogany Park (more details are on the ticket)
Participants are advised to wear closed in shoes, clothes suitable for painting, bring water, be sun smart and be ready for some fun!
There will be a photographer and videographer on site on the day.
Please note, there are no toilets available on the site on the day. The closest public toilets are located at Robert Thompson Reserve
This is just one of the 19 public art pieces across five new stations on the METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line, making it the largest art collection commissioned on a METRONET project to date.

A big thank you to all our Noranda families!!! 🥰
Thanks to you, our Centre was able to support this initiative and to make a difference on children in care Christmas.
Dear Parents,
This year, we are hosting a donation drive to support Care Bags.
Noranda CCC Parent Social Group would like to help the Care Bag Christmas Drive this year by collecting gifts and donations for children in care in Western Australia.
For a child in care, Christmas can be a difficult time for many reasons, including potentially being separated from siblings and unable to spend time celebrating with family. We want to help promote their sense of self-worth and show them the wider community care for them and their futures.
You can help contribute by:
• Donating a gift (for ages 0-16) generally valued between $30-$50.
• Donating chocolate/lolly Christmas stockings.
• Donating cash, and a gift will be purchased on your behalf.
Donations can be collected by the Centre until 20 November 2023.
For more information, please visit: https://carebags.com.au/christmas-1
Thank you.
