Building Trustworthy AI in the WA Public Sector

2026 marks a turning point for technology regulation in Australia. With the implementation of the WA Government AI Policy and the Artificial Intelligence Governance Toolkit from the Western Australian Government, AI governance is no longer a technical discussion it is a leadership imperative. By July 2026, all public entities must appoint an AI Accountable Officer to ensure AI adoption is safe, transparent, and compliant.

For technology leaders, Integrating AI without an auditable governance framework is a recipe for legal and operational risk. At CX Insight, we combine data-driven customer experience strategies to help enterprises build innovation architectures that are compliant, sustainable, and future-ready.

Don’t let innovation turn into liability.
Has your organisation mapped its AI governance readiness today?

Humanity-Centred Design: Making Technology Truly Relevant

We believe technology should serve people not the other way around.

One of our success stories is the collaboration with AktivAsia (2022–2023). Together, we designed, tested, and prototyped a low-tech, low-bandwidth learning platform for frontline campaigners in Indonesia.

The result: solutions that deliver economic value, remain socially relevant, and are always centred on people.

Let’s discuss:

What do you think is the biggest challenge in applying humanity-centred design in your organization or workplace today?

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

We believe leadership transformation happens when frameworks meet empathy.

Dr. Eunice Sari joined the facilitation team at the University Leadership Bootcamp, Bina Nusantara University, training 66 incoming General Chairs representing 54,000+ students. Together, we explored how Future-Proof Leadership is built through Strategic Management and Humanity-Centred Leadership.

Key Highlights:
Moving from “running programs” to architecting long-term Vision.
Vision Maps, OKRs, and strategic huddles filled the walls.
Late-night conversations revealed the human side of leadership.
Co-facilitators and mentors ensured strategies became practical realities.

A strategy without empathy is incomplete. Leadership is as much about heart as it is about systems.

We extend our gratitude to Prof Dr. Yohannes Kurniawan, Yan Andre Peranginangin, and the BINUS committee for their trust and collaboration.

Yesterday, we had the immense privilege of delivering our ‘Speak Up and Stand Out: Finding Your Voice in Community and Culture' professional development to the dedicated team at Kinship Connections. It was a truly collaborative and engaging session, marked by invaluable insights and active participation from all the leaders present.

The timing of this session couldn't have been more perfect. As we celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC Week with this year's theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," our professional development at Kinship Connections directly resonated with the spirit of empowering Indigenous leaders. Just as NAIDOC Week champions the enduring strength and vision of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, our session focused on equipping Kinship Community Leaders with enhanced communication skills and a stronger sense of empowerment to guide their communities.

We believe this training provided a strong foundation for continued growth, reinforcing the idea that "The Next Generation" will indeed carry the torch, shaping the future with courage, insight, and deep respect for their roots. It's about ensuring Indigenous voices are not only heard but also lead the way, echoing the NAIDOC Committee's ongoing commitment to independence and self-determination.

We are deeply committed to fostering long-term partnerships that empower organisations like Kinship Connections. We hope this effort marks the beginning of a sustained collaboration, enabling us to continue supporting the incredible work of Indigenous community members in Australia.

This week, I had the honour of attending the Independence Day celebration in Australia. Beyond the festivities, it was a truly special event as we also celebrated the incredible contributions of Consul General Siriana Nair as she prepares to complete her diplomatic posting in Western Australia.

We first met Siriana three years ago, shortly after she moved to Perth, and we immediately recognised her as an excellent and humble person. She has a remarkable ability to connect with everyone and see the best in every situation. Her approach to diplomacy consistently highlights the humanity at the heart of global connections, embracing differences while uniting people for common goals.

As Siriana concludes her posting, we would like to acknowledge the profound impact she has made in strengthening our relationships. Reflecting on her insightful remarks, particularly on the shared similarities and collaborative spirit between communities, resonated deeply.

had the privilege of working with many global organisations, including the US, over the past 20 years. Just like any friendship or business partnership, these relationships have gone through various stages. What truly stands out is that despite our diverse backgrounds and perspectives, people generally possess a great nature. By focusing on our shared values and the positive impact we can achieve together for humanity both locally and globally, we can undoubtedly make the world a better place.

Her invaluable support for Marginpreneur in 2023 had a genuinely lasting impact on our work. Siriana's leadership exemplifies beautifully how embracing our common humanity and collaborating with a shared purpose can foster peace and progress.

Thank you, Siriana, for your inspiring, servant-hearted leadership. Your legacy of building bridges through kindness and connection will continue to inspire us all. Wishing you every success and joy in your next chapter!
