🏉⚽🏐 Our Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic day at the VANS Carnival on Tuesday, 2 June.

They represented our school with great sportsmanship, teamwork and determination, giving their best effort in every event. We are proud of the way they encouraged one another and embraced the opportunity to compete and have fun.

Our Year 5 students enjoyed an engaging day of learning in Fremantle, visiting the WA Maritime Museum and Fremantle Prison to deepen their understanding of Australia’s colonial history.

Through exploring historical artefacts, exhibits and significant sites, students investigated early colonial settlement, the impact of change on the Australian landscape and the contributions of people who shaped Western Australia’s history.

These rich, hands-on learning experiences brought History to life and encouraged students to think critically about the stories, perspectives and events that have shaped our community.

👮‍♀️ Constable Care Incursion 👮‍♂️
Our Kindy to Year 2 students took part in an engaging Constable Care incursion today, learning all about Protective Behaviours.
Through fun and interactive activities, students explored ways to stay safe.

🏃‍♂️ Cross Country Carnival 2026 🏃‍♀️
Our school cross country carnival was held last Friday under beautiful sunny skies.
A huge well done to all students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 who took part. Your effort, determination and sportsmanship were fantastic! 👏

✨ Robotics at St Benedict’s ✨
Our Robotics program is in full swing for Years 4–6, with 60 enthusiastic students involved!
The Elev8 and Robotic Master groups are using LEGO Education SPIKE kits to build, code and collaborate while developing creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
We can’t wait to share highlights from their learning and upcoming competitions. Together, let's inspire our children to dream big and reach new heights through the captivating world of robotics. 🚀🚀🚀

🌍⚽ Year 3 Blue Assembly ⚽🌍
Our Year 3 Blue class took us on an exciting journey around the world as they explored the FIFA World Cup! 🌎✨
From learning about different countries to celebrating the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship, it was a fantastic performance.
Following the assembly, our Resilience Award winners were proudly presented to the school – congratulations to these students for showing outstanding strength and perseverance! 💪👏
