Dance enthusiasts know Carmelo Pizzino spent years learning and perfecting his craft in Perth before progressing to the international stage and building his prestigious reputation as a world class dancer.

Carmelo holds British, International and Australian Dancing Championship titles under his belt, representing Australia for 15 years on the international stage in addition to World Championships. He embarked on three world tours with the ultimate high-voltage theatrical dance production Burn the Floor even though Carmelo had made his mark well before coming to the attention of wider Australian audiences in Dancing with the Stars.

Other achievements include West Australian Sports Star of the Year, Channel 10 Young Achiever of the Year Award in the Arts and Australian Sports Star of the Year.

Carmelo’s residency on the hit show allowed him to be partnered with high profile celebrities, making his debut with legendary actress Noeline Brown, Kylie Gillies, Lara Bingle, Lynne McGranger and television icon Kerri-Anne Kennerley, providing the show with some of the most memorable and entertaining moments.

Throughout his 10 years on the hit TV show, he won the hearts of the DWTS faithful, establishing himself as Australia’s favourite dancer on the show. Carmelo also performed internationally, with appearances on So You Think You Can Dance (Europe), and on his return to Australia was invited to choreograph and work with the talent of So You Think You Can Dance (Australia).

Moving back to Perth, Carmelo worked closely with Comdance writing the Partnering and Ballroom Syllabus for commercial dancers. Carmelo brings a wealth of passion and knowledge to WA’s emerging artists.

Carmelo continues to retain his love for dance and performance however, he now focuses his attention on nurturing, coaching and encouraging young Western Australian performers and bringing world class productions to Australian audiences as Creative Director/Producer of CARMELO ENTERTAINMENT. Giorgia has been dancing since the age of 5, beginning her training at The Performance Company in a variety of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical and acrobatics.

She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) with Honours in 2019. During her time at WAAPA, Giorgia was lucky enough to be selected to complete an exchange program in New York, and has also travelled and performed in Europe, China, Taiwan and Melbourne.

Since graduating from WAAPA, Giorgia has been working as an independent dance artist around Perth, choreographing for and performing in a variety of productions.

Training in Perth, Corey’s career took off after obtaining a scholarship to Brent Street in Sydney where he spent a year fine tuning his skills. He then travelled and worked in many Asian countries such as Japan, South Korea and Singapore for companies like Universal Studios, MTV Asia and Sony Avex Trax (Japan), and choreographing for Television (MTV Asia’s Dance Delight) music artists (EHM Japan), events and corporate functions.

Upon returning to Australia, Corey was quickly swooped up by Jason Coleman (The Ministry of Dance – Melbourne) to work on corporate shows, live events and TV shows such as Australia’s Got Talent, The Footy Shows Players R***e, SYTYCD (Choreography) and Dancing with the Stars which he was also lucky enough to assist with creative.

A prominent figure in the Perth dance community, Corey is known for his hard work ethic, sharp style and commercial flare.

Veronica Bravo is a songwriter, pianist, vocalist, performer and tutor from Perth, Western Australia, who has been songwriting since the age of 15.
Following her success on Xfactor (2012) Veronica moved to Los Angeles to pursue her music career, signing with an offshoot label of Sony, working with Grammy winning producers, recording at Paramount Recording Studios and landing a spot on the Billboard top 50 Dance Chart.

Whether it’s on the stage in musical theatre or in the studio creating music, Veronica takes great pride in her art and finds joy in mentoring upcoming artists and performers who wish to pursue a career in the music industry.

Katy began dancing at the age of 2 and throughout her childhood years was introduced to all genres of dance. Katy’s love of dance and performing arts lead her to completing a CERT IV in Dance and an Advanced Diploma (Commercial Dance).

Katy has been fortunate to have performed at a variety of Corporate Events and Fringe Festivals, in Musicals such as GREASE and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and Choreographed ’SHREK’ The Musical in 2018 for APAN Entertainment.

Katy has been teaching for 8 years and continues to teach at Vanguard Performing Arts.

Katy has invested heavily in the Industry, further gaining a Cert IV in Training & Assessment. Katy is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of performing artists.
