๐ Introducing Our Bloom Community Library ๐
At Bloom Jindalee, we believe a love of reading begins in childhood and grows through connection, curiosity, and community. ๐
Weโre so excited to share our new Bloom Community Library โ a special space for all of our families to enjoy together. Families are welcome to:
๐ Share a book you no longer need
๐ Borrow a book to enjoy at home
๐ซ Return it when youโre finished so another family can love it too
This little library is all about nurturing little bloomers, encouraging literacy, and creating meaningful moments through stories. Whether itโs a bedtime favourite, a parenting read, or a new adventure for your child, we hope our community library brings joy to every family who visits. ๐ธ
Together, letโs grow a love of reading! โจ

๐ผ Introducing the Bloom Seed Library! ๐ผ
Weโre so excited to share the newest addition to our Bloom family โ our very own Bloom Seed Library!
Our sustainability unicorn, Stacey, and our little Bloomers have been hard at work nurturing their veggie patches, carefully harvesting and collecting seeds to create a special community seed collection to share with you all. We have lots of different types of seeds to share from our garden and from a collection that has been thoughtfully saved for a few months now ๐
Now itโs your turn to help them grow!
๐ฑ How it works:
1. Take a packet of seeds from our Seed Library
2. Plant them at home with your family
3. Nurture and watch them grow
4. Snap some photos along the way ๐ธ
5. Share your gardening journey with us
๐ผ Donโt forget!
Tag us or send in your photos โ weโll be choosing some special Bloom Gardener Awards ๐
Letโs grow, learn, and share together ๐ฟ
Take a seed, grow with care, and donโt forget to share! ๐
Thanks to our lovely Megan at Nutmegz for the addition of the ever so pretty flowering Amaranth seeds ๐ธ
๐ฟ Whadjuk Wednesday ๐ฟ
Our tiny tots in the Sprouts Room (1โ2 years) have been exploring and learning through natural materials from the land today. ๐
Through touch, play and curiosity, our little learners are beginning to connect with the world around themโfeeling different textures, discovering shapes, and engaging their senses in meaningful ways.
Moments like these help foster a deep respect for nature and an early appreciation for the land we live and learn on. ๐

Congratulations on February staff member of the month to one of our Diploma Qualified educators in our Seeds room (nursery), Miss Archie!
Archie is nurturing, fun, hard working and ever so dedicated to her role, babies and team ๐ธ
Well done ๐ Our Bloom community appreciates you!
๐ฟ Whadjuk Wednesdays ๐ฟ
Each Wednesday we take time to acknowledge and learn about the Whadjuk Noongar people, the Traditional Custodians of the land we live and learn on.
Through stories, nature, and cultural experiences, children build respect, curiosity and connection to Country and the rich culture of Australiaโs First Nations peoples.

Weโre excited to be stepping up our sustainability journey by becoming an official Containers for Change drop-off point! โป๏ธ
Our Bloom families can now bring eligible containers to our service to help reduce waste and support a great cause.
Funds raised will go towards further improving our sustainability program and a chosen charity each month, helping our little learners give back while caring for the environment.
Thank you for supporting us as we work together to make a positive difference for our planet and community. ๐
Today our Kindy children in our Seedlings room enjoyed a wonderful bush tucker experience using herbs from our very own garden. ๐ฟ
Using bush tucker oregano, thyme, Old Man Saltbush and rosemary, the children worked together to make some delicious damper.
Throughout the experience, the children were involved in the full process โ caring for and learning about the ingredients, mixing and preparing the damper, and sharing their knowledge through thoughtful questions and conversations.
They explored the different smells of the herbs, talked about where the ingredients come from, and enjoyed tasting the damper they made together. It was a lovely hands-on experience that supported curiosity, sensory exploration and connection to food and nature.
