💙 Father’s Day Afternoon Tea 💙

What a beautiful afternoon we had celebrating all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and special father figures in our children’s lives! 🥰

We absolutely loved having our families join us for our Father’s Day Afternoon Tea. It was so lovely to see the beautiful interactions, laughter and special moments shared between our children and their loved ones. 💙

These moments of connection are so special, and we feel incredibly grateful to be able to share them with our Buttercups families. Watching the children proudly spend time with their special people and seeing all the smiles around the room truly warmed our hearts. 🌿✨

A very big Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandfathers and father figures in our Buttercups community. We hope you all had a wonderful Father’s Day filled with love, laughter and precious family moments. 💙

🌿✨ HOW EXCITING! Our Daffodil Playground is OPEN! ✨🌿

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived! 💚 This morning, we opened up our beautiful Daffodil playground and our Kindy children couldn’t wait to get outside and explore! 🥰

The smiles, excitement and happy little voices have made all the hard work worth it. From climbing and running to discovering all the new spaces, the children are already making the most of their wonderful new outdoor environment. 🌱🛝🌸

It’s safe to say… they LOVE it! 💕 And honestly, so do we!

What a special way to finish our playground transformation — watching the children enjoy a space that has been created especially for them. 🌿✨

🌿✨ PLAYGROUND UPDATE! ✨🌿

We are SO close! We can finally see the finish line, and our beautiful new Daffodil garden is nearly ready to be enjoyed! 🥰

There are just a few final finishing touches to complete before we can officially open the playground and let the children explore, play and enjoy their incredible new outdoor spaces. 🌱🛝☀️

The excitement is definitely building — the children are bursting to get out there, and honestly, so are we! 😍

We cannot wait to see the smiles, adventures, messy play and memories that will be created in our newly upgraded gardens. 💚

🌿✨ Playground Update! ✨🌿

We’ve seen some really exciting progress on our playground this week, and we’re getting closer and closer to seeing our new space come to life! 🥰

We were so excited to see the soft fall going in, creating a safe and inviting space for the children to explore, climb and play. 💚

Our sandpit is also starting to take shape, and we can’t wait for the children to enjoy all the fun it will bring 💛

We’ve also watched our vegetable garden come to life, and we’re looking forward to the children getting involved in planting, growing, watering and harvesting their own fresh produce. 🌱🥕🍅

There’s not too much longer now! We can’t wait to share the finished playground with our Buttercups families.

As part of the Buttercups Mid-Year Supervision Awards, Buttercups Carramar were honoured to have won the Rock Star Team Award for our commitment to child safety and effective supervision💛

We are proud of the amazing progress our team at Buttercups Carramar has made in strengthening our child safety and supervision practices. 💛

Through ongoing training, mentoring, professional discussions and strong communication we have embedded effective supervision practices into our everyday routines.

At Buttercups, we know that strong relationships start with familiar faces 💛

Many of our educators have been part of the Buttercups family for years, creating consistent, nurturing environments where children feel safe, supported and confident to learn.

Our Carramar centre is a wonderful example of this. A much-loved part of the local community for over 24 years, Carramar is home to an incredible long-standing team. In fact, some of our educators once attended the centre as children before returning as team members—an amazing full-circle story that reflects the strong sense of community we've built.

Our Centre Manager, Ronel, has been here for 9 years, and our Assistant Centre Manager Jenelle, has been here for 24 years. Together, the entire Carramar team has an impressive 142 years of combined service, bringing a wealth of knowledge, consistency and care to every child who walks through our doors.

It's people like these who make Buttercups feel like home 💛

🔬✨ SCIENCE WEEK! ✨🔬

What an incredible week of discovery, curiosity and FUN we have had celebrating Science Week! 🌈🧪

Our children have loved getting hands-on and exploring what happens when we mix, fizz, fly and experiment! From creating beautiful rainbow colours 🌈, watching fizzy colour eruptions 🧪, making and flying paper planes ✈️, to our very exciting cola eruptions! 🥤💥 — there has certainly been plenty of excitement and some very messy hands along the way!

The children have been making predictions, asking questions, observing what happens and sharing their ideas as they explore the world around them. Most importantly, they have discovered that science is all about being curious, having a go and learning through experimentation! 💡🔍

These experiences have provided wonderful opportunities to build on the children’s natural curiosity while developing their thinking, problem-solving and inquiry skills.

🌈 Science is everywhere — and our little scientists have had the best time discovering it! 🔬💚
