Dear Parents and Carers,
Our Walk for Water is only two days away and we are looking forward to this annual event that raises funds for our sister school in Cambodia as part of The Angkor Project. If possible, students are asked to bring their sponsorship form and money in an envelope and place it in the P&C Post Box in the School Office on Friday, so the money can be counted and deposited into The Angkor Project as soon as possible.
Remember, Camboon Primary School can make a difference for Amphet Phnom Primary School, one step at a time.

"Today the students in Years 1 & 2 participated in an incursion called "Water in Aboriginal Culture". They were taught about the strong connection Aboriginal people have to water. The students explored Aboriginal water management and conservation practices that date back over 60,000 years. Students will now understand how their actions can shape the future of our water systems. It was wonderful to see how engaged the students were when Preston, the presenter, played the didgeridoo.
An interesting fact - the Water Corp have a trained dog that can locate pipes underground that have cracked or burst. "

Yesterday, our Camboon Primary community came together for a meaningful ANZAC Day service. ❤️
Students showed great respect as we remembered and honoured the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the men and women who have served our country. From thoughtful readings to the laying of wreaths, it was a special moment of reflection for all.
Lest we forget.
