At Little Buckets we pride ourselves with making our own Worm Tea by recycling our service food waste.By doing this it makes an organic liquid fertiliser. Our worm tea helps our gardens thrive. We also produce a lot to share with our families and community.

🧲✨ Magnetism investigation!

Today our children became little scientists as we explored what around us is magnetic.

We were so excited to discover which items stuck to the magnet! We took our investigation outside, testing the playground, fences, poles, shed, cubby house toys and more.

Messy fun with blue oobleck this morning! đź’™

It didn’t quite go to plan and ended up a little more watery than ooblecky, but the kids didn’t mind one bit! They had so much fun splashing, squishing and getting their hands very, very messy.

Today was all about healthy eating!

Our toddlers enjoyed some fun, age-appropriate activities focused on food and nutrition. The toddlers explored pictures of healthy and sometimes foods, using language to share what foods they like and discussing which foods help our bodies grow strong.

Our educators showed the children pictures of different things they might find in nature, encouraging them to look closely, ask questions and share what they recognised.

🦷 Healthy Teeth, Healthy Smiles! 🦷

Our toddlers enjoyed a healthy teeth activity where they sorted food pictures into “healthy” and “unhealthy” choices. Through discussion and encouragement, the children learnt which foods help keep our teeth strong and healthy.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, learning and sharing their ideas!

Can you guess your child’s shiny smile?

Today we put our little detectives to the test by displaying photos of everyone’s smiles and seeing if they could match each one to the right friend.

There were lots of giggles as the children took turns making their guesses. Some recognised their friends straight away, while others enjoyed the challenge of working it out! It was a wonderful activity that encouraged observation, memory, and helped strengthen friendships within the group.
