We were recently gifted a big farm fresh pumpkin from one of my brothers. Today we scooped out seeds and prepped the veggies to make a big batch of pumpkin soup 😋
The house smells divine!

These were an absolute hit today 😋 We made them together this morning and waited patiently for them to harden in the fridge. A little bit of dark chocolate drizzled across the top didn't go astray!

Yes, we are still here!
Haven't seen a post in a while?
You are right, we haven't posted for quite some time.
I have made the decision to not post our little ones faces any more so that I can support their right to privacy and safety whilst they are in my care ❤️
We'll still be here, doing all of the amazing things we always do, and something may pop up from time to time, but updating social media will no longer be a priority.
Please, as always, reach out if you have any questions or need support in any capacity 🥰

Yesterday, we headed to Heathcote to play and cool off after quite a few days of really hot weather. As we were packing up to leave home, it felt really warm but on arrival, there was a beautiful cool breeze and it felt so much cooler than what it did at home. We talked about this as we hit the beach and splashed about.
Me: It really makes sense now why the Noongar people moved from the inland to the river. It's so nice here today.
Alvey: yeah and this is where all the fish are.
Sonny: they would catch fish and eat them, Alvey. I'm going to catch one today!
Macey: I think it's good they moved around.
We made an amazing discovery today too. Hundreds of little (and likely invasive) sea snails littered the beach. Sonny was the first to notice them before we noticed the beach was full of their little squiggly tracks. We watched them for ages and noticed that some of them were REALLY fast!
We all tried our hand at catching the very fast Western hardyheads that swim through the shallows here and there were some really great ideas on how to do that. Unfortunately, these fish are fast and not easily tricked! We'll try again next time.
A great game of "Castaways" was set up on the beach whilst Alara and Macey set up a day spa nearby. Everyone was so busy and engaged, it was such a beautiful morning 🌊🌞❤️
