👮‍♀️🚓 Community Connections at Ascolta Coogee 🚓👮‍♂️

Last week, Ascolta Coogee was delighted to welcome Police Officers Hannah and Chris for a special visit! 💙

The children had the opportunity to learn more about the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe. They loved exploring the police car, seeing the flashing lights and, of course, hearing the siren! 🚨

Hannah and Chris explained that although the siren can be loud, it’s a “good noise” that helps alert the community and allows police to respond quickly when someone needs help.

It was a wonderful hands-on experience that supported the children’s understanding of community safety, emergency awareness and the important people who help us in our community. ✨

A big thank you to Officers Hannah and Chris for taking the time to visit Ascolta Coogee and create such a memorable learning experience for our children! 💚

♻️ Larry & Lexi's Recycle Station ♻️

Through Larry & Lexi's Recycle Station, children are encouraged to discover how everyday materials can be transformed into exciting new creations.

Using recycled materials such as cardboard, paper, containers and packaging, our educators inspire creativity, imagination and conversations about caring for our environment. 🌏✨

We’re always grateful for donations to help keep our Recycle Station filled with exciting materials, ready for little hands to create and explore! 💚♻️

🦷✨ Dental Health Week at Ascolta! ✨🪥

Last week, we celebrated Dental Health Week across our services through hands-on experiences designed to encourage healthy habits from an early age.

From brushing techniques and learning about foods that help keep our teeth strong, to dental-themed sensory and creative play, our children explored the importance of caring for their teeth and keeping their smiles healthy. 😁🪥

A big thank you to our local dental professionals who took the time to visit our services and share their knowledge with the children, making Dental Health Week even more engaging and meaningful! 💙
