“What do bugs eat?”
“Do bugs talk to each other?”

Our classroom 5 children have been find lots of bugs hidden in the gardens and have been loving watching them with lots of interesting questions.
The educators in classroom 5 are extending on this and beginning a big project to find out the answers to our questions and many more along the way.

While Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives are embedded into our everyday practice, Reconciliation Week is a reminder to reflect and ensure that what we are doing continues to represent our community and current practice. This week are are gathering feedback from our educators and families to keep our Reconciliation Action Plan current and reflecting our ever changing community.

In June, we will be holding our very first community art display in the Whiteman Edge shopping centre (outside of Coles). The children in all of our classrooms are busy creating sculptures and works of art to show off our talents. Watch this space to see our art display come to life!

Our new Infant and Toddler Curriculum has launched this week, designed to support children during the important first 1000 days of learning.
Over the coming months, our educators will begin embedding the curriculum across our infant and toddler classrooms, bringing even more intentional learning experiences, environments and approaches to every infant and toddlers day at Brabham.

Today two of our educators visited Remida to collect some items for loose parts play, construction and creative exploration. We wonder what will be created with what we came back with?
