Happy Father’s Day!

Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, uncles and special people in our Nido Brabham community!

On Friday, we loved welcoming our families into the service for our Father’s Day Stay & Play. It was beautiful to see our children sharing their learning environments, playing together and creating special memories with the important people in their lives.

Today we celebrate the incredible educators who make Nido Brabham such a special place.

Every day, our educators bring patience, kindness, creativity and passion into our environments. They create meaningful learning experiences, celebrate every little achievement, offer comfort when it’s needed and build beautiful, trusting relationships with our children and families.

Yesterday, our youngest learners from Classroom 1 enjoyed a special excursion to the Jungle Park!

The children were encouraged to slow down and engage their senses as they listened to the sounds of nature around them — from birds chirping and leaves rustling to the different sounds of the outdoor environment.

They also had the opportunity to explore a variety of natural elements, discovering different textures, shapes and colours as they connected with the world around them.

These experiences provide wonderful opportunities for our youngest children to build curiosity, sensory awareness and a growing connection with their local community and natural environment.

BOOK HUNT – FINAL DAY!

It’s the last day of our Book Week Book Hunt, and we have two final books waiting to be found!

Book 1: Start somewhere very familiar… just outside Nido Brabham! Take a look around the bench — a special story is waiting for its new family.

Book 2: Our final book has gone shopping! Head outside Coles and check the bench… you might just find a new story waiting for you!

Remember, one book per family so we can share the Book Week magic with as many families as possible.

Classroom 3 Adventures at the Jungle Park!

Today, our Classroom 3 children headed out on an exciting excursion to the Jungle Park!

While exploring the park, the children investigated the many different textures found in nature, collecting inspiration from leaves, bark, sticks and other natural materials. They then had a go at imprinting some of these textures onto paper, noticing the different patterns, lines and shapes they created.

We brought our nature prints back to the service so we can continue to explore, discuss and extend on our discoveries together.

What a wonderful way to connect with our local community while encouraging curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning!

We’re back at the Jungle Park today, and we had some very special helpers! Our toddlers helped us hide today’s two books ready for you to find!

Book One: Find a tree and have a look underneath… a special story is waiting nearby!

Book Two: Follow the path, head around the bend, then start searching through the bushes!

Remember – one book per family so we can share the Book Week fun with as many families as possible.
