A1 students explored our new Yarning Circle today. 🍃

A Yarning Circle is a traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander way of gathering, sharing stories, listening, learning, and building respectful relationships. It provides a safe and inclusive space where everyone has an opportunity to contribute and be heard.

After learning about the purpose and importance of Yarning Circles, students worked together to create their own Yarning Circle in the classroom.

In recognition of World Environment Day on Friday, Pine View PS
would like to introduce Waste-free Wednesday.

Did you know that families can save around $400 per child per year by packing a waste-free lunch? Small steps like using reusable containers and buying in bulk are both environment-friendly and money-smart.

We understand that there may be days when participating is not possible, and we appreciate the challenges families may face. We simply ask that students do their best whenever they can, as every small effort contributes to making a meaningful difference.

Some tips on how to get involved in Waste-free Wednesday are
below.
