💛 R U OK? Day – Thursday 10 September 💛

On Thursday, 10 September, our students are invited to wear R U OK? Day colours as we come together to support an important message — “Are you OK?”.

Wearing yellow is a simple way for our school community to show that we care, start conversations and remind one another that it’s always OK to ask for help.

We encourage our students to get involved and help us create a positive and supportive atmosphere across our school. 💛

R U OK? — Every day, every conversation matters.

📚✨ Book Week Parade 2026! ✨📚

On Tuesday 25 August, we celebrated Book Week with the wonderful “Symphony of Stories” theme! 🎶📖

Everyone got involved, bringing their favourite characters and stories to life. There were plenty of smiles, creativity and fun, and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the parade together.

A fantastic time was had by all!

Maths Fun! 🔢

This week in B6 maths, we have been busy sorting and classifying objects and exploring how we can group them in different ways. We have also been using ten frames to represent numbers and develop our understanding of number and quantity. 🧮✨

We are having lots of fun learning through hands-on activities! 🌟

🔬🐢 Science Week at School! 🐢🔬

Our students had a fantastic Science Week last week filled with fascinating learning and hands-on discovery!

🌱 A1 got their hands dirty planting their very own seedlings as part of Science Week. Students enjoyed getting involved and learning about how plants grow and the importance of caring for our environment.

🌿 Year 1/2 students were amazed and engaged during SERCUL’s Algae Busters session. Students were taken on a ‘tour’ exploring how everyday human activities can harm our precious wetlands and discovered ways we can help protect these important environments.

🐢 Year 2/3 students had an amazing time during an hour-long incursion with SERCUL in our Science Room. Students were fascinated to learn all about the Southwestern Snake-necked Turtle, including its Noongar name, Booyi, its body parts, the difference between turtles and tortoises, its diet, life cycle and the threats it faces.
