L'Atelier for Children . L'Atelier is a homely place where children are encouraged to explore, create, wonder and grow in a safe, caring and beautiful environment.

We offer a holistic approach to education and care, which is flexible and responsive to the needs of the individual child, the family, our staff and our community. Our education program is based on the social constructivist theory and we are inspired by the program developed in the Reggio Emilia community in Italy. Our program encompasses the principles, practices and outcomes outlined in the Earl

y Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Curriculum. In these formative years, we nurture creativity and curiosity and believe that the experiences children gain at L'Atelier will provide a solid foundation for future learning.

*We are open from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm, 48 weeks of the year.

*Parents may be able to access Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate.

Silvia is a dedicated educator and mum of two, holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. She believes the early years are a vital time for children to explore, learn and grow, and strives to create a warm and inspiring environment for every child. Silvia brings her Brazilian heritage into the preschool, helping build a diverse, inclusive community where all families feel they belong.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her enjoying beach days with family and friends, cheering on her son at his football ⚽️tournaments, and soaking up the atmosphere at exciting stadium events.

Tanisha is an Educator and Teacher at L’Atelier, where she has been a friendly and familiar presence for over four years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education) and a Cert III in Early Childhood, and is currently working towards her Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching.

Tanisha loves spending time in the art studio, supporting children as they express themselves through creativity and play. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, home styling and doting on her puppy, Daisy.
